When I read just now: "One-week Hiatus of Sak..." I thought it would be Sakamichi no Apollon, lol.

Kinda sucks for those who are watching it, I haven't heard of it till now. Will either watch or read it someday, since it is about mahjong and I think it's kinda interesting :)

Why is it always soccer that interrupts the good stuff?
I mean this is one of the best anime's of this season and it should also have been a pretty good episode judging from the manga.
Not to mention that i would get to hear the voice of one of my favourite seiyu again.

Hmm...this anime is prob one of the worst of the airing season but ill still miss it for a week...

This anime is one of my top priorities for this season, its one of the best animes of Spring 2012 along with Acchi Kocchi, Accel World, Hyouka and Sankarea so sorry to break it to you.

Wonder if they'll do a double episode or just push back the entire series...

It'll just go back a week. Double episodes like Madoka are a very rare way of handling it.

Yep, Madoka was pushed back due to 3/11 disasters that big hardly ever happen, this is just one measly match.

God damn, you say it like this is bad news. That animu sucks cock. Good riddance. Cancel it for good.

Well just because you don't like it doesn't mean nobody else likes it. Im sure you are watching shows that other people hate.

This. It's not that bad of a show, just because its not the type of anime you like that does not give you the right to flame it. Imagine if some other people said the same thing to the anime you like, how would you feel?

Does this mean the episode won't ever air since it says cancelled, or just pushed back a week?

How about Aquarion Evol, which usually airs after Saki: Achiga-hen? That day will be regularly aired for Aquarion Evol, right?

Syoboi doesn't list Saki: Achiga-hen for May 27, but has Aquarion EVOL #22 airing 80 minutes later than usual (25:35 -> 26:55). I'm pretty sure this is indeed caused by sports programming.

What?? 26:55? That's so late.

Edit: I just checked... 24:59: International Soccer Game (Japan vs. Egypt)

I am guessing the hiatus is related to the studio so i suppose Aquarion Evol will air in its usual time slot.

It doesn't have to be studio-related at all. it could also be that the TV station it airs on first has something else planned for that timeslot. Aime shows in previous seasons were postponed because of sports matches, for example.

I may be wrong but isn't an anime show committed to more than one station?

It may air on more than one station, but usually, the first station it airs on is part of the production committee and thus has the exclusive right to air it first. All other stations must then wait till it has aired on that station before they can air it, even if they don't have any special programming on that timeslot.

make sense....
probably due to a minor problem, so it can only make one movie a week ..

such, there is some crew who was unable to attend.
