New Anime of Minami-ke Announced [Update Mar 19]

According to the bonus track within the character song CD bundled with the ninth volume, a new anime of Minami-ke was announced. The details of the anime will be revealed later.

Minami-ke CD said:

Kana: Hey, Chiaki and Haruka, I have a very good news. Do you wanna know it? Oh, well shouldn't I tell it?
Chiaki: What a nuisance.
Kana: If you really wanna know it, then ….
Haruka: By the way, Chiaki, I heard Minami-ke will be animated again.
Chiaki: Yeah, I heard that, too. Congratulations, Haruka nee sama.
Haruka: Thanks. Congrats to Chiaki, too. Let's do our best together.
Chiaki: Yes, we sisters can join forces.
Kana: Hey, why did you disclose that? That's what I was supposed to announce!
Haruka: Oops, sorry.
Chiaki: You put on airs too much, idiot.
Uchida: We did OVA last time. I hope it'll be a TV anime this time.

I'll remain skeptical.

After the trainwrecks that was S2 and S3, my expectations will remain low.

The only way they'll redeem it is if Daume is doing the new season.

How did I miss this announcement?
This is huge news, I'm psyched.

Hosaka has had a permanent spot in my Top 10 charas since 2007, the guy is an inspiration.
Hopefully we will also see the return of Yamada.

I gave up hope on another season after Okaeri! This is amazing news! Unlike many others I actually loved Okawari and Okaeri as much as the first series!
