The only anime series that I know of that 4Kids did an excellent job at dubbing are Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX, and Yu-Gi-Oh! the Movie.

oh, I wasn't talking about the dubbing. ;D Thier editing process is what makes them a evil company.

I doubt all of these anime will be released all this year, they still have anime from before they plan to release this year like Ghost Hunt (which I'm waiting for). I do agree that FUNimation has too much on thier plate, If they were grabbing a few Geneon titles they should of saved a few licenses like Higurashi, Karin and Lyrical Nanoha (which was dropped before they even begun) instead of picking up mostly new ones.

Oh, my bad :XD. I did not realize that you were talking about their editing process.

How could I have missed that? >.< I feel stupid right now :(.

Tiamat says FUNimation Entertainment ruins anime and yet she's happy there's English dubs?

By the way, FUNimation Entertainment doesn't ruin anime, 4Kids does.

Moving back onto topic (somewhat), I wonder when Hoshin Engi will be dubbed by Viz Media.....

Just, you know, FYI.

Oh...and...FUNI + Ouran = ....(._.) *explodez*

But anyways.

I was kinda doing D. Gray-Man manga scans...this puts a tick on things, doesn't it? =]

EDIT:
ENGLISH-DUB?!

HECK YA.
Now I'm happy.

Wait, what? They're known for not having the best video quality, but besides that and DBZ how do they "ruin" anything?

well, i believe some of you heard of this already, not sure if someone mentioned it yet but they say that only first season of d. gray man is licensed, which spans from episodes 1-51. there's a possibility that shinsen might pick it up again.

I will google D. Gray-Man Adult Swim and see what comes up ^_^.

This didn't stop Code Geass. I doubt it will stop D.gray-man from being subbed.

This makes me sigh bigtime (don't really care for Romeo x Juliet), but D.Gray-man...

ouran huh... i'm pretty excited, but as for d grey man or romeo x juliet, not a big fan of either, got bored in the first ep of the latter. also i hope they don't screw up ouran with the voice acting. i really do love the series so they better do it justice

This is why FUNi is on a license rampage: http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/12043.html.

Basically, they're acquiring licenses for titles that Geneon had picked up or planned to pick up.

Link doesn't work. FUNI better do as good of a job as Geneon did if they're going to pick up licenses that Geneon planned to get.

The reason why the link does not work is because there is a "." after html.

Take off the dot and it will lead you to the article ^_^.

Funimation has the broadcast rights to the first 51 episodes of D.Gray-man but there's no word yet on whether it will air on television.

so is d.gray man going to be on T.V. in america?

I was wondering when someone D. Gray-man was finally going to be licensed, but I thought that Viz Media had some type of deal with Shonen Jump since they've done just about all their other recent titles. It's good to finally hear about Ouran too, they announced in August or something that they would be doing it and it took them forever to come out with vol. 1. This really makes me wonder how long D. Gray-man will take.

Wow, and I just dropped Romeo x Juliet a few days ago. Great timing! D Gray-Man doesn't effect me either way at the moment, although if I ever get around to reading the manga I might start caring.

Ouran release info? Really? Finally? Watch volume one get announced for December.

I'm glad to hear that Funi grabbed DGM epically since I've been enjoying more of funi's dubs then Viz Media's lately.

With that said though I hope Funi takes the time to chose voice actors that won't be too off from their Japanese Counterparts.

Funimation better not mess up D. Gray-Man because it was just getting good :(
And if they put on cartoonnetwork, I'ma freak because it would turn out like Naruto and Bleach :(

What would be wrong with DGM being on Adult Swim? It has all the right qualities to be on par with other animes like Bleach.

I like your thinking ^_^.
