Light Novel Highschool DxD To Be Animated

According to Fujimishobo, Ishibumi Ichiei's light novel "Highschool DxD" was announced to be getting an anime adaptation.

A manga adaptation has been serialized in Monthly Dragon Age.

Synopsis:
Hyodo Issei is a (pervert) high school boy. When he goes out on a date with his first girlfriend Asano Yuma, he is killed by her. Her true identity is Reinare, a fallen angel sent by a secret society Grigori to eliminate dangerous divine weapons. Issei is reincarnated as a devil by his senpai Rias Gremory, a Duke of Hell. Issei serves as Rias's low rank devil and fights against the fallen angels.

Plot sounds interesting, but I'm full of these (crappy) ecchi fanservice series >__> So I doubt that I'd be watching this..

When a moderator says a thing of such magnitude the least he/she could do is provide some form of explanation. Or am I safe to assume that if I use any of these anime's art as avatar/signature I will be banned since it is against the rules to upload any "offensive" images to the site and use them as user and club images (General Forum Guidelines; rule 3)?
If so, you should edit this sites' rules and correctly and formally elucidate that this site's definition of "offensive art" includes anything related to the Light Novel/Upcoming anime 'Highschool DxD' so no misunderstandings can be made.

I agree it was a little overdone, but Clain wasn't just randomly labeled a pervert. Really only Enri referred to him as such, and only because she had feelings for him and was upset that he didn't appear to return them, and so called him a pervert all the time. It wasn't wasted time (at least, not the first couple of times), it was character development.

With that being said this looks awful. I mean, the concept sounds boring and unoriginal and I'm really uninterested by the character designs. That doesn't mean it can't be good, but the best I can see it being is just another supernatural high school (also ecchi) anime. Of course, I haven't read the light novels so I can't be sure? I guess I'll plan not to watch it and then if everyone says it's really good I'll give it a try.

the synopsis had me intrugued but when i went on the site i was like o, another ecchi/loli which might turn out to b a harem. im not exactly excited anymore

sounds and looks remotely interesting and I'll give it a shot. wonder if there will be a manga to check out besides an LN.

As for this... I will wait for the studio/director announcement and which anime it will be lining up against before deciding. It doesn't sound very good, but good staff can make a massive difference.
