Anime Movie of Manga Hotarubi no Mori e Announced

According to LaLa magazine, Midorikawa Yuki's manga Hotarubi no Mori e was announced to get an anime movie adaptation. It will premier this year. The director is Omori Takahiro and the production studio is Brains Base.

It was a long time ago when I've first read Hotarubi no Mori E and it became on of my favourite mangas. I'm so happy to see Brains Base will make a movie from it <3 Only problem: It'll takes long to see it xD

I loved this manga! Haven't reread it in a loooong time. Liked it more than Natsume Yuujinchou, anyway.

huh i havent read the manga but i would expect a some OVAs instead of a movie since it is a bunch of one-shots...

but this looks like it will be good ^^

The manga was really good, so I'm looking forward to this. I'm surprised they're making a movie out of it, though, instead of an OVA / group of OVAs. The manga's just a bunch of short stories, and the one-shot they're adapting's a little short.
