The only one I purchased on the list that week was Bakuman 3. I also got Deadman Wonderland 4...but it's not on the list.

Gantz movie was released only in Japan. As of yet, so unless there is a sub and it's broadcasted all over the US, then no influence.

On the other hand, I've seen the latest sales of Japan, and this there is a definite correlation. The movie showed some obvious impacts. There were "Gantz vol.1" being bought at the top of the list. So yeah...

Except that it was released in 46 different states late January.....^^;

Ohh, My bad. I just checked. I wasn't aware of that.

It would be interesting to watch it Dubbed. But sub would be much better.

Yup yup. Thats why I was sad it didn't have a noticeable effect.

'cause I found the dub was fairly good. Has that really weird quirk that all live action dubs do, but it was still fairly enjoyable.

Banzai for Bakuman~! It's competing really well with the big shots. I'm glad.

Naruto is that popular on USA, but i wonder why One Piece is not that popular on USA

Maybe it has something to do with 4kids' anime dub which was edited to the point that it was ridiculous.

Not sure if OP is not popular in USA, Slam Dunk and Kindaichi are not popular in western countries compare to some of their counterparts. But they are freaking popular in Asia.
