A classic, for very goods reasons. The best art there is and an absolutely breath-taking storyline, all amazingly depicted in an horrifying way.

While the art feels very uneven through the whole series, Kingdom makes up with an incredibly enthralling plot, with the best battles i've ever seen drawn on paper.

Vagabond... Another serie that surpasses itself times after time by not stooping to blind violence and epic combat. It's the tale of a warrior coming to understand the world surrounding him, and it's freakingly well executed.

This manga struck me deeply as one of the best I've read, precisely because it's not just the epic tale of a violent viking child on the quest for vengeance, as it seems to be at first.
It's much more than that, and the critical turn in the story is brilliantly executed.

Biomega has everything a cyberpunk fan could ask for. It's just that amazing, especially for one used to Tsutomu Nihei's work.

My first insight in Tsutomu Nihei's creations, and i gotta say he got me hooked right off the bat. It's also proof that you can create and amazing universe without lines and lines of dialog.
The scale of the depiction is absolutely imposing too, and greatly reinforces the impression of chaos and danger that the plot gives off.

A cyberpunk monument with very well writen characters and a mature storyline. No one is truly evil, but everyone craves something which dictates their actions, Alita being the foremost example of that. The enjoyment is maximal

A fantastically detailed and thrilling post-apocalyptic universe, straying from everything I ever saw. Myazaki's genius laid on paper, displaying amazing characters and deep philosophy. Truely a 10/10 masterpiece, even in his standards.

Best manga i've ever read. A rollercoaster of emotion and an extremely deep story.
The absolute greatness of Lone Wolf & Cub is quite hard to express, but to read it means to gain a very accurate depiction of samuraï society and bushido.

A rollercoaster of emotions. Although Punpun is not that relatable in his actions or thoughts, the universe of Oyasumi Punpun itself is painfully accurate in its depiction of human nature. There's good, there's bad, there's joy and sadness, and there's despair floating around, always. This manga made me realize how lucky i was compared to some less fortunate people. Cherish you life and cherish your friends, they make it worth living.
It's overall quite depressing though.
