Idk how I feel about this series, tbh. I think it's a decent insight to life in the workplace and working for a shady company. I became pretty emotionally invested during theses parts. However, the romance was so greatly overshadowed, that it feels like more of a workplace drama. Also, I'm pretty surprised at how far they actually took their relationship. I was okay w/ Karen pining after our MC, but for the 2 of them to have a sexual relationship? Their whole relationship felt odd, tbh. He even admits to using her to live his past dreams, & she's too young, w/ no love experience whatsoever. I thought the MC was a better fit for his coworker or his ex. And after all that talk about "dreams" he never did become a writer. The payoff was so.... flat. He never punched out Doumeki or Karen's grandpa. He stayed w/ that shitty job, when Global was a better option. His little Umaru sister is still mooching off of him. Like I said earlier, he never realized his dream. This guy jumped through a 1000 hoops in a 29 chapter Manga and all he's got to show for it is a gf that might land him in prison

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai
Really enjoyable gag manga, w/ an equally wholesome and sweet romance. Reina is a perfect kuudere and soft spoken. She's an absolute cinnamon roll. Her relationship with Raido is the #1 redeeming quality of this manga. They're so cute together, & all of Raido's delusions make it feel fresh. Raido himself is a breath of the fresh air. Most times we get characters like Nishikata, from Takagi-san. However, Raido is an absolute Chad at times. He's the catalyst for almost all the humor and his straightforward personality is great. Raido and Reina got together so early that it honestly shocked me. A kiss and a confession that early felt so out of left field. I appreciated it tho. The side cast is ok, but this series lives & dies based off of the main couple. The fact that they got married, & Raido parlayed his eccentric personality into being an astronaut author is wild. Seeing Reina in a wedding dress was so sweet. I'll miss this series

Akita Imokko! Ebina-chan
I didn't find Ebina's friends particularly interesting. Even though Umaru is a bitch, she's at least entertaining. I basically read this to see if Taihei & Ebina end up together. Pretty big tease. Heavily hinted at, but just enough so you're not 100% sure

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu
I actually started this right before the anime announcement. Because of that, I put it on hold. However, I was so entranced by the climax of the story, that I had to spoil myself, by finishing the manga.
The Pros: Pretty much everything. It takes an overused premise, like school, & gave it a one-of-a-kind makeover. The assassination was an interesting introduction, & over time, I fell in love w/ the majority of the characters. The series blends comedy & drama so well, & all of the characters get their moment(s) to shine, & are properly developed. Obviously Nagisa & Karma stole the show, but it was a fun ride. Koro-sensei had an awesome backstory, & his end was heart-wrenching.
The Cons: Although I respect the authors mettle, in focusing on so many characters, it gets pretty hard to remember all the names & faces. The ending was great, but I hated how cryptic Kayano's belly-holding was. Personally, I shipped her & Nagisa, but if the author wanted to sink the ship, oh well. An ambiguous, half-hearted conclusion was NOT okay.

●Rec
The cover is indeed misleading. I thought it was some loli/incest stuff, but was pleasantly surprised. The author swerved us well. The dad was definitely a lolicon, though. Some of the stuff he said was creepy, though I believe he was just trying to keep the mood upbeat. The ending was sad, w/ the father reliving the memory, via recording. One of those shorts that needed to be longer.

Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
Luckily the author made branching routes for all the heroines. Thank god. I couldn't stand the thought of Uruka winning. Esthetically, she's probably the 2nd or 3rd cutest, but it pisses me off how much time she had w/ Yuiga, w/ nothing to show for it. Her route was at least better than Rizu's though. Holy shit, was her route awful. It was 90% about Saijo, & watching Rizu play games, w/ her robotic personality was cringy. Fumino's was ok, but I was against her feigning an injury, to keep Yuiga around. That's such a scummy way to go about things. Asumi's route was amazing. It felt more mature than the others, had MUCH better interactions, & touched on their past way more than Rizu, Fumino, & Uruka. Nice touch w/ bringing Asumi's dad back into the mix. Mafuyu's was pretty good too. Although I personally didn't ship them, seeing them as a married couple just felt right. Imo, Asumi, Mafuyu, Furuhashi, Uruka, Rizu. I still liked Furuhashi most, but no denying that Asumi & Mafuyu had the best end routes

I really liked it. Cute, bubbly, SoL, romances are my favorite. Sawa-chan was 100% Waifu material. Legal lolis ftw!! The manager & boss were decent side characters, but they were never developed. The series was way too short. Idk if it was axed, or if the author rushed it in order to get to another project, but it ended so abruptly. One moment Senpai was being hit on by an annoying coworker. Next thing I knew, the main couple was dating. Overall, I'm glad it was given a conclusion. I just wish it had been given proper time to develop. Confession scenes are a staple of the romance genre. This series just glanced over that & rushed to the ending.

It was cute, but at one point, their clothes magically disappear. Thought that was a bit odd. The twist w/ Sato getting drunk off of the cologne was ridiculous. It was cute, & the designs were solid, but I've seen better.

Pretty funny. Running alongside the anime, it was entertaining to see a less dramatic, SoL feel to the anime. That being said, without the character development & portraying of humanity, this manga wouldn't stand up well, as a standalone title. Wouldn't mind if it was made into a series of shorts, or something.

It completed in the most boring way possible. There was no big payoff. No epic finale. The series itself was really cute. I loved all the brocon moments. It's such a chill, SoL. I just wish SOMETHING had happened in the finale. It deserved that at least

Demi-chan wa Kataritai
I really enjoyed the cast. Especially Hikari & Sakie. The sensei was decent too. Pretty rare to actually find a non-dorky looking, male teacher in an anime. The original concept was really cute and interesting. When this series was at its simplest, was when my enjoyment was at its peak. There's just something easygoing and quaint about getting to know the Demis and their interactions. Once the series became about time/space, it was MUCH harder to follow than necessary. Takahashi scored the succubus at least. That was the main payoff, honestly. I didn't have much emotional investment with the girls starting a podcast & getting the Demi name out there. Felt like that objective had already been completed, once they all became friends. Overall, i really enjoyed it, but I definitely enjoyed the SoL bits early on, more than the science nonsense

I'm not usually into big-breasted women, but Miku is so precious. Hell, the entire harem is great. Yabe is a little too dense, imo, but I love series that have such cute reactions. I like Fujiwara & Nagisa, but I'm 100% behind Miku. There's a bit too much fan-service at times tho. The ending was a bit abrupt. It felt really rushed, but if the alternative was an open end, I'll take it. Even though I wish it were expanded upon, the sneak peek into Miku & Yabe's future was much appreciated. Miku waited years for this. She deserved that happiness. I'll go 9/10,just for Miku being so cute/sexy, no drama, & a happy ending. It was a great, enjoyable ride. This series made me smile & I'll miss it

Goblin wa Mou Juubun ni Tsuyoi
Pretty funny & enjoyable. There's just something awesome about the concept of an overpowered goblin character. A subversion of our expectations. Most of humor came from the OPM trope of the MC just showing up to wreck whoever was in front of her. The only downsides imo, was the yuri demon, who stalked our goblina. Those types of characters don't add much, tbh. The ending felt kind of rushed too. There was no build-up whatsoever. A new powerful foe just appears out of nowhere and they win. Ez

Little too much drama, considering how cutesy it's presented. Color me surprised that they actually went down the romance route. Loli yuri is such a rarity in the anime/manga/novel world. Color me even more surprised that there's a doujin, w/ h-scenes, that was drawn by the mangeka themselves. Nice

Harem Manga no Shujinkou daga Gay nanode Mainichi ga Tsurai
The title was just so ridiculous, that I just HAD to read it. The MC was pretty cynical, but overall, it was funny. The way he shot down the Tsundere girl & tried to avoid that one girls advances was hilarious. Not a fan of yaoi/shounen AI, so I'm not too sure how I feel about the end. I would love to see an anime about a MC that keeps shooting down all the over-the-top & unbelievable girls that inexplicably like him. Nice change of pace from generic harems.

In the long run, I'm not sure how memorable this one-shot will be. However, I really enjoyed the concept. The main girl gave off the tsundere vibe, without any of the negatives. Hino-san no Baka Publishing
If not for the MC's shitty friend playing obstacle all the time, it would've been great from start to finish. Even her ship was trash & completely out of nowhere. A tad awkward as well. The series itself is such a cute concept and their interactions felt so different and fresh from the usual moe blob stuff. Hino is the driving force, but I fanboy'd hard when Koguma stole that kiss from her. I had a love/hate feeling towards the ending. On one hand, I'm glad the ship sailed. We got a confession, kissing, & even sex. That being said, it still manged to feel rushed. It took a while to get there, but once it did, the crescendo just sped by & before I knew it the series was over. They left alot of plot points unresolved. Did Hino-san's grandma ever wake up? Did Hino's grades stay up? How would Koguma's family or their classmates have responded to their relationship? It was still great, overall tho. A yuri series that actually went all the way is such a rarity, but I still think it could've been even better

Imamade Ichido mo Onnaatsukai sareta Koto ga Nai Onna Kishi wo Onnaatsukai suru Manga
Tbh, I really enjoyed the series at 1st. Fooly & Leo's interactions were cute. Especially Leo's facial expressions. Unfortunately, as more side cast was added, we've gotten a cancer of sorts introduced to the cast. That stalker girl makes every chapter that she's present in damn near unwatchable. That shit is too cringy. Then as if she wasn't bad enough, the mangeka destroyed his own story. It's not like this series was pulitzer prize worthy anyways. However, Leo degraded into an absolute simpleton. Her love for Fooly should've been this epic moment, leading to unforgettable confession. Instead, we got awkward tone shifts, stupid ass end fights, & an ass pull deus ex machina of epic proportions. The Ab God literally killed off 50% of my enjoyment for this series. B4 the end battle, I would have given this manga a 7 or 8/10. However, the ending was so egregiously bad that I had to lower my score

For the most part, it was really cute. A fun, inoffensive manga about an adorable kaijuu. Unfortunately, it didn't really live up to its potential. There were so many characters, yet none of them were fleshed out. The story had direction, but was severely rushed & the ending was really abrupt. I don't think that mother was even referenced b4 her appearance in the penultimate & final chapters. Feels like it got axed or maybe the mangeka wasn't as passionate about this one

Really cute series. I really wish Nishikata had got a few over on Takagi, but it was still a solid ride. They did their best to drag it out, but the buildup was immense. There were so many teases and red herrings, that I was starting to lose hope that the series would ever conclude. Takagi definitely carried the series. The way she plays Nishikata, like a fiddle, is masterful. Sometimes I felt sorry for the guy, but it wasn't anything too extreme, like in early Nagatoro-san. The finale was great. That build was worth it and they really showcased how strong of a relationship the 2 of them have. The confession was well done & I got a slight chuckle out of the fireworks trope being used by Takagi. I might pick up the future mange eventually

Kimetsu no Yaiba
Overall, I really enjoyed it. Nonstop action, interesting battles, & some really memorable characters. I don't think I was ever on the hype train as much as some of readers, but it was enjoyable enough. Tbh, I thought everything fell into place for the main cast way too often. Every time they went outside, it was like "we need to find one of the moons.... Oh, there's one!" The entire Manga went like that. Pretty lazy writing imo. That being said, the final battle against Muzan was pretty intense. It did have a few ass pulls and the Tanjiro becoming a demon plot fell flat, but the scope of the final fight was amazing. Better than the MC 1v1ing the final boss. The finale was a fucking mess, tho. All the reincarnation was nice, but totally unnecessary. Idk who ended up with who, if anybody. The mangeka probably kept it purposely vague, so we wouldn't spend the last chapter talking about ships. So in conclusion, I liked it, but didn't love it. It was fun, but underwhelming at times. I still think Tanjiro was a boring lead. Super stereotypical of Shonen Manga

There was a severe lack of Hinata. Weird, since she was such a fan favorite. No Himawari either. The "antagonist" were poorly thought out, & Sarada's moping & whining got old. Nisekoi
There are times when I disagree w/ the Manga community, about a mangeka dragging out his/her creation. This, however, is NOT one of those times. I thought that this Manga was never going to end, & when it finally did, it felt rushed. This manga is a bit like Bleach. It started out strong, w/ a good premise, but fell to shit soon after. RakuxTsugumi ShuuxRuri RakuxHaru RakuxChitoge If Onodera would've won, I would have dropped the score a full 3 points. Wish that Shuu was the MC. Raku is Orimura level of dense. That being said, maybe he deserves Kosaki. That way they can go down in history as the most unentertaining couple in manga history. Its just funny that in a manga, where your wildest dreams can come true, where girls can have magical powers & over-the-top personalities, & still be likable, that the author chose to create the epitome of normal, in the form or Kosaki Onodera. She's just like Haruna from To Love-ru. I used to be a fan of Tsugumi, but she's been relegated to side character, so I just stood on the SS Chitoge. I still wanted her to get more screentime, though. Her revealing that she was a girl to Claude was gold. The end was meh, there was no wedding, & the kiss was blocked out. I felt cheated

Nukenai Seiken-chan
I feel like this series won't get the respect it deserves, because it's ecchi & loli. However, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Tatara was a solid MC, & we got to follow his growth as a blacksmith. Him adding bits & pieces of ingredients, in addition to skills & techniques made the every chapter feel important to the overarching story. The girls were an absolute treasure. The artist did a wonderful job, w/ both cute & sexy designs. The premise of the manga sounded so ludicrous, but I was enthralled from the start. The ending was a bit bittersweet, but it was done well. I actually felt sad when it ended. It's such a surreal moment to see a Manga based on the crafting of the Holy sword, rather than the Hero's journey. That uniqueness, paired w/ the girls & the ecchi was wonderful. Idk if I could ever actually recommend this to anyone, but I liked it

This manga was adorable. Uika is probably the most innocent, kind-hearted, sweet-hearted girl I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. Every scene with her will melt your heart. I wish her lifespan could have been restored, & I really wanted to see an adult Uika, but even though it was so short, I loved every sec. of it. Hell, even the side characters were great. I was pleasantly surprised at the amout of character development for Uika, Anzam, & even Satou. For such a short manga, I expected tons of humor, & slapstick, but the plot was solid. That being said, the ending felt abrupt.

Yamato is adorable & if your a reader of Ore, they they did a good job at making Nisekoi's harem look interesting(except Onodera). When reading this, I realize just how different the 2 manga are. Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed with how it ended
There was so much foreshadowing and bleakness. Yet, they went the happy route and there was no closure. Ponko never really told the family that she was the grandma's robot. Yoshioka-san's health issues were teased, & nothing came from it. Other than like 5ch worth of content. There was all these hints at a war & people were theorizing all kinds of crazy ideas. The best moments of this series was Ponko & Yoshioka just being family. Their bonding was easily the highlight. She really hot him out of his shell at times, & by the end, he was much closer to his family. It functioned well as a SoL, comedy, but I wanted something more emotionally charged. Its just kind of fell flat by the end, and had a boring finale. The ride was fun & entertaining at least

It's trash, tbh. But I enjoy this mindless, wish fulfillment bs. The MC is just ur garden variety nobody. Generic in both looks & personality. An absolutely amazing series overall, but it just begs to be animated, w/ the voice actors. The sex jokes do get a bit old over time, but there's a decent side cast, so at least Tsuda isn't the only one to play the straight man. The finale was dull as possible, considering the build-up. The anime itself teased the whole harem aspect, so for the mangeka to just ignore that HUGE plot point & leave the series unfinished left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, some of the feelings do not get conveyed properly, because this is a manga. In anime, sound can be heard. In this manga, where music is the focal point, having no sound hurts it. Was pretty groundbreaking at the beginning. A shounen, food, battle manga? You'd think it would be ridiculous.... Well it was, but in a good way. After Erina's dad showed up, the series began to dip, until all that NTR crap w/ Asahi ruined what used to be one of my favorite Manga. Poor Joiichirou got relegated to background character, and they ruined his mystique, by having him lose to Asahi. The ending was a rushed mess... Even w/ the epilogue. Open ending, w/ no canon romances, & Souma never did beat his dad or Erina. Given all the time time & backlash, I really had high hopes for the last chapter. Especially after a 10y time skip. Unfortunately, it's just as open-ended as the original end. Trash ending. Not Bleach bad, but still a major disappointment

Solo Leveling
It was quite the enjoyable ride. 1st and foremost, the art was god-like. There was so much detail, & the coloring was so badass. My only complaint being that the action was very difficult to follow. The story itself was pretty fun. Early on, there was such an emphasis on leveling up and completing quests, that just wasn't there towards the end. The ending itself kind of fell flat. Apparently, it was the same in the web novel, but the ending felt rushed, to me. Sung Jin Woo's dad felt like such an afterthought. I still very much enjoyed it, but it definitely tailored off towards the end. Luckily, they rectified this a bit, in the side stories. However, all the stuff w/ his son was pretty lackluster. It's just not as fun, when a character is so ridiculously OP, from the get-go.

Soul Eater
Last chapter was definitely weird, with all the emphasis on boobs, but it didn't give me cancer, like its anime counterpart

Tedama ni Toritai Kurokiya-san
Was a pretty likable main couple. The whole "straightforward boy" thing got a little old, but their relationship was always fun to watch. The tertiary cast was ok, tho I only really cared about Kurokiya's friend. It was a short series, but that just means it didn't have time to fall off, like Komi-san

To LOVE-Ru Darkness
Open ending? Better not be. I'd rather him just pick a girl(Except Haruna), than leave off on this bs. Rito is pretty much the same character he was in ch.1, and that's extremely disappointing. The girls are the saving grace of this series.....Minus Haruna. Ecchi is god-tier, though

Tokyo Ghoul
Can't say I was too thrilled @ the ending. Everything was the clowns doing? wat? Arima is way too OPd, & even if Kaneki survived in :re, how the hell is he suppose to beat Arima? Way too much focus on the CCG, & I couldn't remember 90% of them. Other than that, it was amazing. Kaneki's transformation was masterful & the art is so well done. Too bad re is such a clusterfuck

Tokyo Ghoul:re
I absolutely hate amnesia/brainwashing in anime. Its like saying "*blank* is too OPd, so to nerf him, we'll just reset his mind". As soon as Urie got past his angsty, edgelord phase, he was a decent character. I felt less than nothing when Shirazu died. It was like "Check this new character out.....What, u don't care about him? Well, we'll kill him off anyways... Sad?" Its lazy writing. As good as Ishida is at portraying mental breakdowns, Shirazu's little "fear of his weapon" bit was WAY underwhelming, compared to Urie's inferiority complex or Mutsuki's tapestry of issues. Luckily, once Kaneki "returned" the series became fun again. Granted, the pace was pretty chaotic & nobody hardly died, but I still enjoyed the action/art & the ending was pleasantly happy

Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!
The amount of breaks/hiatuses is ridiculous. No excuse for a 1pg a day manga. Although i love the art, & the premise, it dragged on forever and somehow still managed a rushed ending. Mangeka could've used all that Jun vs Gorou bs to show us how Tomo & Jun behave as a couple & give Carol/Misuzu some closure. I always felt that Misuzu would regress once Tomo couldn't make enough time for her. Glad we ended on a kiss, but w/ all the breaks & unfinished plots, I was disappointed

Totsuidekita Yome ga Aisouwarai Bakari shiteru
I really enjoyed the concept. Chiyo and Soujiro were both good characters and their misunderstandings were pretty cute. Unfortunately, once the novelty faded, it started to drag on a bit. I really wished they would've just naturally grew closer and cleared up the misunderstandings, rather than force them to confront their feelings w/ a love rival & a false death. The ending really cheapened the journey. Overall it was still pretty good. I'm mostly just happy it got a proper ending. Although I'm disappointed that their kid ended up being some androgynous loser

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
One of my all-time faves. A romance just hits different when it's actually working adults, & not awkward teenagers. Narumi & Hirotaka were such a fun couple, and maybe it's projecting on my part, but it's nice to see people bond over their hobbies and actually grow because of it. I loved all the otaku references. Especially the fact that all 4 MCs represented a different genre of that culture. Koyanagi and Kabakura had such a great chemistry with one another. The original bickering washhands sorry relatable and watching them grow as a couple, and eventually get married/pregnant was such a great payoff. I could've done w/o Ko and Nao, but all I'm all, that's just a minor complaint. This series was fun, actually had progression, the characters are developed, and had an ending. I'll miss this manga. I'm a little bummed that went didn't get to see Narumi/Hirotaka get married, but the little teaser in the last chapter will have to suffice
