"Bungaku Shoujo" Series
6 8/74 1/8 Premise is kind of strange (not the main focus fortunately). It's slice-of-life, mystery, psychological at the same time. I wasn't attached to the male lead (although it's written in first person). It references "No Longer Human" a lot. Good writing style

After Hours
5 6/17 1/3 A yuri manga about the growing relationship between two young, adult women. They start sleeping together early on. However, the focus changes to organising music events, and their relationship turns into a side note.

Arslan Senki Publishing
5 24/- 3/- A classic high fantasy story set in an ancient Persia-like country. Slow pace, but nice build-up. The plot progresses constantly and becomes better. Just not really exciting. Dropped, because the art is underwhelming and the anime came out.

½ Prince
5 12/82 2/16 A funny manhua with humour in the style of Slayers. Just not as good as said franchise.

Joou no Hana
4 5/44 2/15 Very similar to Chang Ge Xing, although it's easier to read with a simpler story. It has a very good beginning, but the story doesn't really flow smoothly and after two volumes I completely lost interest.

Juuni Kokuki Publishing
5 8/- 1/- Finished book 5: The Wings of Dreams. A novel centred around the prequel story of Shushou (the "young" empress of the northwestern mainlands). It starts out rather strong, but becomes so flat later on.

Kase-san Series
7 24/25 4/5 A saccharine yuri manga. It starts out with the two main girls falling for one another, and later on focuses on their relationship as lovers. Chapter 24 has a very satisfying conclusion that I don't need to read further.

Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World Publishing
7 20/- 2/- "The Little Prince" in a more realistic setting with more philosophical stories. Kino is awesome. Very good and precise writing style, which shows its strength in chapters like the one centred around newspaper articles.

Kokoro Connect
3 9/91 1/11 Interesting premise. Some character interactions are genuinely fun. But the swaps are random as the plot commands. The psychological dramas (albeit fine) are solved within minutes. This Fuusenkazura guy is ridiculous and unnecessary. (Finished 1st book)

Monogatari Series: First Season
7 18/107 1/6 Kizu: A mostly straightforward supernatural action with Nisio Isin's crazy style of dialogue

Netsuzou TRap
4 16/29 3/6 Yuri manga with attractive girls. A broken, promiscuous girl teases and coerces a dense, innocent girl when either of them has a boyfriend. Some romantic tension, but scenes mostly turn out steamy. Neither cute, nor pleasant, and barely romantic.

Prison School
8 180/278 17/28 A very entertaining, easily marathonable raunchy comedy, but written in a way of a serious drama. Humor is played straight which makes it even better. Erotic moments go all-out. Stunning art. Completed two major arc, and I don't need more.

Rokka no Yuusha
8 14/46 2/6 A very well thought mystery in a high fantasy setting. 7 warriors/mages try to find the imposter among them; a game of trust and betrayal. Very gripping. Memorable and well written characters. Fast paced action. 2nd volume finishes on satisfying note.

Sword Art Online Publishing
1 17/- 2/- Finished Phantom Bullet (book 5, 6): Among the worst books I've read in my life. Stupid premise. Characters are weak. The main plot is so unfocused and the motivation is sometimes illogical/random/badly written. Full of plotholes and plot conveniences.

Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Publishing
8 30/- 3/- After the Railgun S anime finished airing, I've read the following festival arc in its manga form. Great as expected; yet I still prefer the anime version and will probably not continue with the manga.

Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria
5 24/40 4/7 Supernatural mystery with really well-thought-out concepts. But it doesn't deserve its rating. The reactive protag belongs to my worst characters ever, Maria gets more pushed aside by each vol, a jarring "harem" and each arc's ending is very unsatisfying.
