A strange set of short stories that are more like mental rambles put onto a page. Makes you appreciate how far Takako has evolved in both art and writing. Her potential definitely begins to shine through here.

Occasionally dips into ridiculous drama scenarios, but finds a better balance over time. Cast is tragic and broken, with no sugar coating, and I felt for them so much. Wonderful use of sparse paneling and slight artstyle shifts.

I didn't ask for these feels.

Fourteen makes JoJo's Bizarre Adventure look conservative. If you make it through these 20 volumes there will be no story too ridicuous for you anymore.

Autobiography of an aspiring artist and her tough but passionate teacher. Higashimura portrays herself at her most flawed, regretful, and stubborn, and resultingly crafts a wonderfully round character that we see in a struggle to mature. It's all real. Anyone in their 20s should read this.

Easily the best GNU/Linux related high school manga out there.
