If you’re, like me, one of those people that couldn’t stand the anime because of its overuse of melodrama, constant yelling and obnoxious characters, there is still a chance you might like this iteration of the franchise.

The manga version of Love Live Sunshine goes back to simpler roots and it just makes everything better. Chika actually seems passionate about being an idol and her energy is communicative and this time feels like a great leader deserving of succeed honoka and it’s understandable why other talented girls would gravitate towards her.
