Synopsis

Second Lieutenant Matsumoto, a fighter pilot of the Imperial Japanese Army, faces the Allied Air Forces aboard his Kawasaki Ki-61 "Hien" (Tony) over the Solomons, New Guinea and the Philippines. Faced with enemies, always superior in numbers, he survives fierce battles thanks to his intelligence and with the help of squadron leader Ozawa and his mechanic Hino. His latest mission is to escort the Kamikaze aircraft off the Philippines...
