Slow building romance between teacher and student that's warm, realistic, and bittersweet. There's heartbreak and many feels in both series, which makes them loveable stories that quickly hook readers. There's also great friends who help each other out along the way. They are emotional, dramatic stories that move you in their realistic depictions and you can't help but love the funny characters. 

Teacher-student relationship. It's the students who is attracted to his sensei and pursues him to be in a relationship with him. The teacher ofc doesn't take his student's feelings seriously at first (you're young, confused, go find a girl etc etc), but eventually gives in. An ex also shows up, the presence of whom strengthens the relationship between the teacher and student. Plus, loving seme, so that's definitely a bonus!
