Berserk and Blaster Knuckle is virtually the same manga, we follow the lone hero, who's out for revenge against demons. The mayor difference is that in Knuckle Blaster the protagonist is a black man and the story takes place in USA during the 19th century. They are both great, violent mangas, and if you loved Berserk you'll definitley like Blaster Knuckle, it's an incredibly entertaining story.

While one series stars a native American, and the other stars a black man. Both series are stories about the main character fighting in the name of their people and getting revenge against racist white men in a wild west setting. The style of the action scenes are very similar between the two, as well, and feature lots of blood and gore.

Both series are awesome supernatural westerns. Blaster Knuckle is a revenge story similar to Berserk, while Steel Ball Run displays many bro moments as they battle various stand users. Steel Ball Run has more diversity in its story, but Blaster Knuckle offers a personal insight on racism.

Well the main hero's both have a similar way about them that reminded me of the other.Probably because they both have that retaliation or an wild justice or something of the that sort.

+ Historical setting in the 19th century/20th century United States + African protagonists influenced by the racialist caste system of the United States + Protagonists experience loss in exchange for extraordinary abilities + Both utilize religious/folklore elements. + Could argue that both use fantasy as a plot driver. Differences - Blaster Knuckle is ACTION horror , Akuma Blues psychological horror. - Akuma has a darker tone

Buff and big main character meets characters along the way, beats up characters along the way and makes a very impactful presence among the ones he faces.

How often do you get to read a wild west manga? For those who enjoyed Green blood which is a lot like Hollywood movie Gangs of New York with Leonardo Di Caprio, I bet would enjoy reading Blaster Knuckle which is a lot like Django Unchained, just with monsters... both are action packed seinens filled with pursuit of revenge.

These manga tell the story of a tormented man hunting demons. During their travels, these men witness the vices of humans and the chaos ruining their country.

While not entirely similar, since BK is about demons, they are both set during the Wild West era and contain secret organisations and extraordinary gunmen.

Both feature heroes/heroines who battle supernatural monsters. Both feature a nice bit of blood and violence although, if you're looking for some good old Shoujo Ai, Blaster Knuckle won't scratch your itch. Also, both manga feature the same message: "Don't trust Whitey."

While Blaster Knuckle is a Western & Claymore being a dark fantasy, their similarities include the main characters being on a revenge journey while facing demons who can disguise themselves as humans. Towards the end of Blaster Knuckle, an organization is introduced whose purpose is to train children into demon hunters much like the organization found in Claymore.

These stories feature anti-heroes who can potentially be as evil as the demons they hunt. Morality is made ambiguous as the distinction between good and evil is constantly shifting.
