This manga isn't redefining the wheel when it comes to horror and suspense, but it takes a basic 'Saw'-esque setting and really runs with it. Some parts of the story drag, but we still get a pretty good story. Even though you have a decent idea of how the story might end, the author still manages to keep your interest consistently.

This manga really has edgy and/or gory readers in mind, so it's not recommended for everyone. If you like a good storytelling with your gory mangas, I would definitely read this.

(Pros and cons with minimal spoilers)
Pros:
- Some of the characters are very fleshed out.
- Good ... character drama.
- Most of the characters act rationally according to their own personalities.

Cons:
- Some of the characters divert to irrationally, just to move the plot.
- Almost all characters had some SA-related activities which was not necessary.

Related:
There was almost some loli stuff, but I think due to how readers responded, the author diverted that stuff. (Because it is really unnecessary in any manga)

This manga is definitely not for the faint of heart, if you can't stomach gore and taboo subjects (and I mean severely taboo) then I don't recommend you read it. However if you can tolerate graphic violence as well as the serious subject matter then it's a pretty decent read. Personally I enjoyed the art style, the more harmless character designs of some of the characters played in well with the disturbing factor of the blood carnage that soon follows. I also think that a good majority of the characters were written well and have interesting motivations throughout the story, however you can tell that ... some are just there for the sake of being there or to add more shock value to an already shocking manga. If you like splatter horror then you're in for a treat, but that doesn't really mean it's good and I think there are better horror manga out there.

Like everyone else who has left a review so far, I came here after watching a video on it. I'm not at all new to the horror genre, especially ones that other people consider hard to enjoy. Bunch of strangers locked in a building murdering each other? Similar enough to other things I like! So naturally I thought this would be right up my alley.

This manga however is just... not that good. Now, as of writing this review I have only actually read the first volume and skimmed the rest of the story. So keep that in mind while reading the rest lol

The story is ... pretty predictable and full of tropes found all throughout the genre. The characters don't really have any personality to them. (Which I'll admit, is common in horror. But when all of the characters are lifeless it makes it hard to actually make your way through the story.)
There are depictions of s*xual assault and violence against children. So, be aware of that going in if these things bother you.

The one thing this manga really has going for it is the gorey visuals. While you can get gore in nearly every horror media, it's hard to get it looking right. This manga, in my opinion, does a beautiful job of illustrating less than beautiful subject matter.

Overall I gave this manga a 3, it wasn’t really that enjoyable but seeing the gruesome deaths was something to look forward to. It definitely has potential to be better, but since it's already ended I guess we're stuck with what we got haha.
