So this is one of the first Light Novel's i have read. I'v read 4 or 5 before so. It's also one of the only stories that has such a big change in quality over the chapters.

I do enjoy this. It has faults, By god does it. But i finished chapter 100 while wanting more.

Let me start out with the biggest issue by far. That is the MC.

(I can barely remember half these peoples names )

Tilea: She at first seems like she can be a fun character. But with how idiotic she is, It get's really hard to read. I'm assuming ... a good amount dropped this cause they got tired with her always misunderstanding crap. There is a limit to misunderstanding but this chick takes the cake and eats it while also on the shitter. It honestly is the worst part about this. After about chapter 50 or so she get's really better to have on screen.

There is also something that has to do with her background. She used to be a no life 30 year old man in her past life. This just isn't fun to have as a character. It honestly took away from the experience for me. We would get scenes where she is confessing her love to another women and it should be really funny. But there is a part of me that is just remembering that this used to be a lazy 30 year old man. While the scene is funny. It's ruined by the character itself.

I do like how she actually looks though. When ever we get art of the characters i actually really like it. Makes me want to see this in a manga form.

Timu: She is fun to have on screen. I like her being the old demon lord general. It get's annoying at times how she want to do whatever Tilea said's. A thousand year old Demon now in the form of a 14 year old girl and being treated like one is pretty funny. It can just be annoying at times.

Nielsan: I don't really like how much he is shit on in the first half, He's kind of a fun character.

Remelia : I think it awesome. I love that she is some noble S rank class adventurer and that the 1st paragraph of her on screen is of her being obsessed over by Tilea who has a massive crush on Elf's. I also ship the two of them together so bad. I found the scene when Tilea confesses to her to be really funny with how Remelia is all surprised at first. This is still set in ancient times where it's probably rare for any Yuri crap to happen.

Jessica: I like with her being the most average person in this entire story. She isn't amazingly strong or overly Dumb or smart. She has the most sensible personality and it was kind of funny watching her try to coax Tilea into fighting the Demons ( Tilea has no idea she's the most powerful person in the world ) I ship her with Timu a ton.

Now for the things i just didn't like. Mostly gonna be spoilers from here on out .

Let's start out with something that i noticed at the start.
Timu turns out to be one of the 6 former Demon Generals and has been reincarnated into a girl years into the future. At first it's kind of funny. But then i realized that there is still a 14 year old girl that has just been killed for the most part. That entire person is gone and now that body is the host for someone completely different. I wish we got something like a clone or have it so the real Timu and the Demon are always fighting for control of the body. I was thinking that Tilea would find out the truth about her sister now being the Demon General. I was thinking that she'd get one reward from the general for doing something for her and that Tilea wishes to have her sister back. I just find it kind of sad that we have to go through the story knowing that she isn't gonna be part of it. There's also the fact that a good amount of times it isn't fun to have her on screen. She is always praising Tilea and never has any of aura that a middle school aged girl would have. This just further proves my opinion that the original Timu and the Demon should constantly be fighting for control of the body. It'd also throw in a lot of comedic scenes with both of them fighting about morals and having to deal with people looking at them weirdly for their mood swings.

The second topic relates to the first topic. We are introduced to another character much later on. Her name is Edmin, She is turned into a vampire. Only issue is that her entire personality has been overwritten. This is akin to killing someone. That person no long exist. She was really good friends with jessica in this. I feel that if she was turned against her will but still acts and for the most part is a human and still friends with Timu. Then i think this would be better and not so annoying.

Act two of the story get's kind of weird with it taking a serious tone and this story is more of a comedy. I feel that if it's a comedy you should keep any seriousness to a minimal and not entire acts.

I honestly think this story should have been about Timu and Jessica.

I can see a story about a Student ( Jessica ) at her magical school and the class is introduced to a new Student ( Timu ) Time not only out performs Jessica ( Top student in the academy ) But also any Teachers and Royal mages from the capital. No one else seems to notice Timu's "Unique behavior and her constant switching of personalities. One moment is in a dark sinister mood and the next she is is a scolding type mood about herself . With her constantly talking to herself and having a dark personality she has no friends and is made fun of in class. Jessica one night see's Timu leaving the Dorms past curfew and decides to follow her. She then finds out that Timu is going into the woods away from the academy ( I'm thinking the academy would be isolated like on an island with few other inhabitants )

It is hear she find Timu having an argument with herself and see another form of a transparent Timu. She decides to hide so not to be spotted and finds out that Timu was meant to be the reincarnation of the Demon Lord. But an act of god the reincarnation was messed up so no when Timu turned 11 she learned the truth of her existence and that she now has the Demon Lord also sharing her body. Due to her weird personality she is ostracized by the people around her and is kicked out of her village. Thanks to the Demon Lord being part of her she is able to make a living in the woods. She was then found by passing Adventurers and then later found out that she has an aptitude for magic and sent to this academy.

Jessica is then found out and with the Demon Lord wanting to kill her but Timu with her human morals decides not too. The story would then go on with Jessica being the only human to know who she is and they become friends with even the Demon Lord bonding with her. Timu is being attacked by other monsters and what not that sense a strong presence. She also has to deal with Politics with people wanting her to be a Court Wizard and Men wanting to marry someone of such power. Obviously the Demon Lord get's aggressive with the people she fought thousands of years ago harassing her. Jessica is always the one having to clean up after the mess and getting both of them Used to live with people for neither of them having much experience with social interaction. Also throw in that Yuri action in there...

I'd rather read something like that and to be honest i feel a little down now that that isn't something we aren't gonna be getting.

Overall a story with problems but still entertaining.

I finished this today- and before anyone gets irritated, I'm reading the translated version. Anyway, the story is very funny - the amount of sheer hilarity caused by her simple misunderstanding has slowly grown into a worldwide adventure with her being the ultimate cheat character. Think Saitama except he thinks what he can do is normal and everyone else is just playing along. That's what Tilea is like. I really enjoyed the series, but it isn't a very serious thing. That's entirely defused by Tilea's ongoing belief that it's just an extremely bad case of Chuunibyou.
The art is ... good, and the characters are very fun to witness. The story is pretty good, but it does suffer a little from the stretches Tilea goes to in order to make the "misunderstanding" constant. It's also funny how the demon generals respond to her "playing" around with them :)
