Manga: Hyouryuu Kyoushitsu
Both are apocalyptic stories. While Igai is about zombies and Drifting Classroom is about being trapped in a wasteland, there are some aspects of both stories that are quite similar. Both stories are set on a school campus. There is political turmoil among the survivors as they try to navigate this new situation they find themselves in. There is a ton of graphic violence and death.

Zombie apocalypses never get tiring no matter how many times we watch/read them! Blood, guts and as usual lots of flesh eating!
