These two manga has many similarities like they are both related to music, one is about jazz another is about rock, or they both have the hard-working main character who will never give up, etc But the biggest surprise for me is you can literarily hear the music through the manga panel in both mangas. I am not really a jazz fan or a rock fan, but you would imagine how the music will be like. These two are some of the best manga without appreciation. please go and take a look!

"It's never too late to chase your dreams" Both of these stories encompass this very theme, despite looking and feeling vastly different from each other. Both are also enjoyable, feel-good seinen mangas with just a teeny-bit of romance sprinkled through out the story. Though Space Brothers is more grounded in reality, while Shiori Experience is more supernatural and wacky in nature; these two give off the same vibes. Both main characters are possessed by one of the greats of their discipline, both look to become skilled in their own crafts without the need of their respective ghosts.

It's a bit similar to Beck where a band is trying to become a legend. Beck is a story of a band who's members all get a dream of becoming a part of the legendary rockstars. Shiori Experience is like a modern retelling of Beck, set in a high school where a plain teacher gets possessed by the ghost of Jimi Hendrix and has to become a legend before she turns 28.

In both of these, contemporary characters take on the "mantle" of world-wide famous musicians, through supernatural means.

Similar to Shiori Experience, Ore to Akuma no Blues features a famous American guitarist. In Shiori, it features Jimi Hendrix whereas Akuma no Blue features Robert Johnson. That is the main similarity, but in Shiori Experience, Hendrix is mainly a supporting character whereas Johnson is the main character in Akuma no Blues. Furthermore, Shiori Experience is mainly a modern tale in which music is the theme, but Akuma no Blues is really more of a historical fiction about the story of Robert Johnson. Yet furthermore, Shiori is a lighthearted comical manga while Akuma no Blues tend to be somber and serious. In short, the biggest similarity between  read more
