So this is fantasy novels that is not isekai or game related. If you're okay with that, this might be for you. PS: This review is based on the first 3 volumes (and might contain minor spoilers).
Good story: The idea of adopting a demon child when they are generally looked down upon really is an interesting premise and it gives this story a different feeling than most fantasy novels I've read. But it is more of a Slice Of Life than some people might assume from the title. (I liked the calm atmosphere though)
Mediocre Characters: The personalities are not very unique, it's actually a let
down compared to the story. The shy little girl whom everyone adores. The overprotective "father" with a dark past. As well as friendly Inn owners that doesn't stand out. It's all been done before, but I can't say I dislike anyone of them.
Art: It's not a very big part of light novels, but the art is really beautiful in this one. Latina is adorable, Dale is quite handsome and the pictures is perfectly portraying that. Absolutely among the top illustrations I've seen in light novels.
Uncomfortable possibilities: (minor spoilers) There are many time skips. And as Latina grow up, she develops romantic feeling for her adoptive father. If you are okay with that, then it's really an interesting story. But if you know you can't enjoy that kind of thing, this might not be for you.
(I've only read the first 3 volumes, so it's still early in the story)
