Preliminary Spoiler

Kimi no iru machi is a manga that will pass to history not because of its beauty, but cause of the original yet weird ideas from its mangaka. First one third of the manga was really enjoyable, quite a nice story between the two main characters developing a relationship while struggling with some typical high school problems and family issues. Romance on this part of the manga was really good, quite a cute story. After that is when the story took a very twisted turn. Perhaps as an attempt to make it more dramatic and interesting, the mangaka came up with a very interesting ...

Preliminary (Unknown/270 chp)
Once upon a time, there was a man called Kouji Seo. He was an absolutely terrible writer, with no idea how to write quality romance. He decided to win the Holy Grail, and make it grant one wish, that the next series he writes would be so bad that it would make swear words fly out from saints, a dentist's teeth break, and make soccer players kick their feet against the wall so hard that they broke their feet.

Ladies and gentlemen, when I wrote my Suzuka review, I was wrong. I thought that nothing, NOTHING I tell you, could be worse than that humongous pile ...

I loved Suzuka but I cannot enjoy Kimi no Iru Machi at all despite that both seem to have the same common complaints by readers.

The author seems to enjoy crafting thoroughly unlikeable heroines and gutless main characters who act in ways that no decent human being could sympatize with. Such is the case with Haruto and Eba, the main "couple" of this manga.

To make a long story short, Eba is basically responsible for Haruto losing his chance with his first love, and then as he falls for her, he grows obsessive to the point that even after she vanishes, he tries to track her down ...

There's probably one question that you'll continue to ask yourself in this series. How is this guy so popular with the ladies?

Story

This is a manga about the relationship between our central characters Haruto, a country bumpkin from hiroshima, and Yuzuki, a city girl from tokyo. Basically the story is about how Yuzuki comes into Haruto's life and causes a bunch of problems for him. Say for example, Haruto has a crush on a girl, she will clumsily get in the way of that in a rather silly fashion. However despite the interference, Haruto can't help but not leave her alone.

Overall the first ...

Man I hate to say it but Kimi No Iru Machi is by far the most dragged out/most boring manga I have ever read. Now hear me out, I'm a fan of anything involving romance but this manga is just dumb. I know this author likes to be realistic with his romance but this is anything from realistic. Before I say anything further lets begin the review.

Story: 5/10
Now the story like any other romance anime/manga is nothing special. It's about a girl who ends up in the main MC's house but turns out that the girl has had a crush on the MC and tries ...

Honestly, it's been years since I last read anything about this manga. Or maybe not, as it only just finished a little over a year and a half ago.

(Just skip to the end for a quick summary. Most of this review is just restating the same thing over and over.)

So for those who are a little bored, let me tell you a story. Reading through the guidelines, it does not state I cannot give a little story about myself. So, young me, not quite savvy about the manga parts of the world yet, somehow stumbled upon this piece of work.

Now, I first came into ...

During the first contact, "Kimi no Iru Machi" seemed like a model manga regarding the themes, creative processes, and decision-making of a mangaka aimed at the shounen demography of the Heisei Era in the mid-2000s: in a few pages, the work skillfully condenses signs common to a rom-com manga (high school settings, attachment to youth, love triangles, childhood friendships, etc.) that contains a strong presence of ecchi, with a focus on the sexualization of the female characters. Nevertheless, as noticeable throughout the volumes, Kouji Seo starts to demonstrate a certain degree of authenticity and boldness in the organization of his manga, as well as showing ...

I normally don't write bad reviews unless I feel strongly about it. For Kimi no Iru Machi, I really wanted to stick it to the 270-chapters end because I wanted to give it a chance after some readers gave it such high ratings. But seriously, what's up with all those high ratings for this crap?

Story: 3/10
I think what really gets to me is the nonsensical plots throughout the story. In all honesty, this manga started off good in the first 40-50 chapters, and then it started to get ridiculous... and the nonsense extends ALL THE WAY to the very end. I actually skipped numerous ...

I could not stand the male lead. All he was doing was whining and pouting about one thing or another. He was SOOO unlucky that a pretty girl came to live with him, then he was SOOO unlucky that she wanted to hang out with him. To make matters worse, the male lead is also a bad friend. The new girl in town noticed one of his friends liked someone, also after getting her heart broken he was not there for her, and when someone else was going to console her, he said to leave her alone. If the male ...

I didnt read all of this shit, if i did it would be a punishment, the art is good, i really do enjoy the style but the story and characters, i really feel disgusted by it, im almost throwing up bcuz i just can't deal with this, what a poorly development, these characters doesnt have any carisma

Art 7.5, idk, it is really good for me, such a waste...
Character 1 where is the carisma ?
Enjoyment 0 ? i was enjoying at the start, but after some events, it just started to be ...

I’m going to say that this review is not very impartial, and that it’s probably because I don’t like drama, so be warned of that. However, this doesn’t mean that I didn't held back, I you wanna see the complete honest review check out the Subjective review (it’s at the end of the review, beware of minor spoilers).

The first half of the story is Boy has childhood friend he does not remember come live with him. Boy remembers her, Boy falls in love with her. Both admit their love and start dating, and then the second half happens. The story that she had a close friend that she liked but did not love. That she chose to date him as a form of dying wish is interesting, but also makes the main female character extremely shallow. The fact that she acts afterwards like nothing happened, and that she wants to get back with the MC makes her character even worse. Beside this ...
