Both W-Juliet and Tenshi ja Nai have main guy characters that are dressing as girls for one reason or another. Also, the main girl characters do not act overly feminine... so of course they start to fall in love with each other! Anyway, both these manga are funny and cute, and great gender bender stories. If you liked one, definitely check out the other.

Both these manga are gender bender stories taking place at a high school where students live in dorms. Of course, the schools are single-gender only. In hana-kimi it's an all boys school, while in Tenshi ja nai it's an all girls school. In both stories, the two main characters end up living in the same room, and one of them is dressing up as the other gender! And of course, the other roomate discovers this quite early in the series. Both are also very funny series and highly entertaining.

Both series have a boy digiusing himself as a girl in fashion industry and a girl, who happens to find out about his secret and starts cooperating with the him despite his nasty character. Eventually they develop feeling towards each other. Both mangas are comedies and are very romantic.

Gender bender of idols. Teppen!! is only 8 chapters where a girl mistakenly becomes a male idol along with the love interest. Tenshi Ja Nai!! is a 40 chapter manga where a girl shipped to a boarding school mistakenly uncovers a male disguised as a female idol. Both have excellent and engaging art work and are completed.

In both of them You have a guy and a girl sharing a dorm room. Though in power!! It's the girl desguising herself as a guy and in Tenshi Ja Nai!! Its a guy dressing as a girl. both of them have funny momemts and of course romance between the main characters. well if you liked power!! Im pretty sure you'd like Tenshi Ja Nai!!

Both have a girl for the main character. In both manga the girl is trying to live life peacefully by going unnoticed. However in the 1st few chapters you see that their plan of a peaceful life is not going to be happening. Shi-Hyun from Good Luck has just transferred into a school because of bullying(she got into a fight). Hikaru from Tenshi Ja Nai! Has also suffered from bullying in the past and is now going to a new school as well at her mother request. Although both have been victims of bullying both characters still have strong personalities.

Both are about showbiz and how a normal highschool girl gets involved in it after meeting a star. Also, in both mangas said star is a boy dressed up as a girl. Even though 1/2 love is way shorter, they have the similar light-hearted feeling.

In never give up the female lead is cross- dressing as a model to stay close to her lover. thus creating some situations that make them appear homosexual. In Tenshi Ja Nai the male lead is cross dressing for other reasons but keeps the act up as an excuse to keep his lover close. This also creates a lot of situations where they appear homosexual.

Both about some person wanting to be famous (Izumi in Tenshi ja nai and Hime in Seiyuu ka) and having to switch genders in order for it to come true. Of course you'll get the friends that help keep it a secret too (^_^)

Both of the main characters had an entertainment experience when they were younger that affected them when they were older. They meet a celebrity who becomes (romantically) close to them. Cross dressing celebrities!! Overall these manga gave off a similar vibe for me. (Love Stage is a yaoi though) But if you liked Love Stage!! then you'll most likely like Tenshi Ja Nai!!

Reasons to read: 1.They were both written by the same person. 2. The art is beautiful. 3. The main characters are all interesting. 4. Plot twists. 5. And if these weren't enough, just one word: Bishies.

In Gekkou Teinen its the girl who is doing the crossdressing and in Tenshi Ja Nai its the guy. Both stories though include the gender-bending character who really wants to become a theatre actor despite his parent's wishes.

both gender benders where males are disguised as females. I would read danshi kinshitsu for a cute short read (=

Again, two very different stories, but in both, interesting characters, comedy and romance. Plus, both are about people working in the music/showbiz industry.

If you like the stories about people trying to break through in show-biz, becoming idols, some funny dark undertones (ie revenge) and so on, these two are must reads! Both are really funny, sweet and romantic. Tenshi is a bit more focused gender-bender aspect of the story, but both are equally good.

Although these two are very different (FM is more focused on fantasy, while TJN is more of a gender bender) they both have the most adorable, romantic stories. Also, both look at showbiz and what it takes to follow your dreams. . .

A girl who is smart but would rather live a "quieter" existence finds herself in the service of guys that requires the spotlight to shine on her more than she'd like. Both have humor, drama, romance, oh and crossdressing!
reportRecommended by SummerOtaku
Both are gender benders and both have to do with fame! Tenshi Ja Nai in my opinion is way better than Ichigo Channel! In Tenshi Ja Nai the guy pretends to be a girl while in Ichigo Channel the girl pretends to be a guy! The love stories in both are really cute! Must reads! ^_^

Although the stories are very different, both are very sweet, somewhat comic stories about a couple struggling within the show business world. Both are really good!

Here are two great celebrity-world stories with strong, charismatic male leads and very sweet romance in both
