Not a bad oneshot. I liked how the radio and a later tv report were used to curb expectations. It was an interesting twist at the end, albeit a fair bit "edgy". However, that's it's only saving grace.
(Slight spoilers ahead without going into too much detail. Honestly, if you plan to read this oneshot, I'd skip this next bit)

ever at a campfire in need of a tale. There was some decent foreshadowing involved, but it was still fairly a simple story. The ending is left ambiguous, but I honestly think that's for the best
