The stories are practically identical, and the first few chapters have similar events. The main difference between the two is that "Baby & Me" has two brothers, and "Oneechan to Issho" has two sisters. (Not plot-related, but the younger siblings of both series have similar names- Minoru (Baby & Me) and Minori (Oneechan to Issho)

It has a brother taking care of his brother. They both really spoil each other, full of kids, in school, cute, adorable, and their loved ones are gone. Just go and read it. I could go on forever

If you like one from it the you're probably gonna enjoy the other because they are quite similar and great

These works depict student protagonists taking care of younger relatives, younger brother, and cousins. They depict the difficulty of taking care of them, as well as their emotional interactions and growth. Baby and Me" is about siblings, and "Flat" is about cousins. There are scenes of young children being selfish, but please feel the cuteness of children.

It took me awhile to remember what this manga reminded me of but this finally came to mind. The boys both are liked by a lot of girls. The only difference is that in aka-chan to boku he really is what the girls see him as.

While these two manga share the same mangaka, they're in some ways as different as night and day. Baby & Me is a cute slice-of-life story about a boy and his baby brother, while New York, New York is a drama about a gay couple. However, at their core, both are Ragawa at her best: touching stories about love in all of its forms, from dramatic romance to tender family love. The ending of New York, New York, in particular, after the drama quiets, could have been a side story to Baby & Me.

With similar premises -- a child or teen is suddenly forced to become a foster parent for a toddler -- these two series have a lot in common. They're both sweet and heartwarming, but aren't afraid to turn on the drama when need be. Also notable is the way they accurately portray small children.

Both cute stories, it's been awhile but I think Aka has its more serious times.
