Normally, anthologies are hit or miss for me, but this one actually makes the effort to conclude or expand a lot of character arcs from the other manga Masato Natsumoto adapted, so it actually retroactively made better a lot of rather mediocre manga, if only just. As a matter of fact, because I read those other manga, this one turned out even better, since there was a sense of closure for a lot of the other arcs. Plus I really wanted to play Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front back in the day, but I never found it, so I'll take what I can get.

the action takes place in 0079 and 0084, with two stories taking place earlier and later. Excluding the first story, which depicts Revil being captured at the Battle of Loum and then escaping, the stories revolve around the characters from the various PS2 games. There are also cameos by characters from other parts of the franchise, but the real showstealer is the arc at the end involving a post-Delaz Zeon Remnant plot that concludes the whole thing.
The art is great, as one would expect. The mecha are draw with great detail, the battles are hectic and flashy, everything is drawn lovingly, and just as a reminder that he can totally do fanservice, there is one short story where Noel Anderson and Miyu Takizawa demonstrate just how potent they are off the battlefield instead of on it.
This can only be read at the absolute tail end of all of the other works, otherwise, there are major spoilers for everything everywhere else. If you're going to binge like I did, it helps bring everything together and does improve the other works a bit, but otherwise, this is not something to read unless you want to spoiler everything and understand none of the previous context.
