A light novel love-child between Parasyte and Tokyo Ghoul. Humans develop super powers after being affected by parasitic creatures. Both involve some sort of "organisations" being formed and they battle each other with their super powers. Both main characters have their life changed after came into contact with these creatures and underwent similar character development and revelation. The villain from volume 1 is literally Shū Tsukiyama with a different coat of paint. Isolator took the story in a more psychological but less horror way compared to Tokyo Ghoul.  

Whilst one is a novel and the other a manga, what these two works have in common is that they both revolve around humans who have been infected by parasites. Each showcases fierce battles between human hosts, with Zettai naru Isolator taking a more superpowered approach. Both works are completely gritty and enjoyable.
