Both of these manga have a similar feel, even though the plots don't really resemble eachother. However, I believe that if you enjoy b reaction you will enjoy open sesame and vice versa.

Male and female lead have long lost memories in their childhood. The strong tsundere female lead doesn't realise her true feelings for the male lead until later.

Your standard (supporting) harem shounen romantic comedy... and a lot of dragging... Both involve girl(s) related to MCs' past and forgotten memories. I like the main plot of open sesame better, but its dragging is absolutely terrible, even compared to Nisekoi.

Do you like pointless, shallow drama that will inevitably just leave you back in square one - with no plot development whatsoever? Do you like it when that hero is so dense it's stupid? Do you like it when that heroine is the ideal girl but she just keeps getting the short end of the rope just because of that idiot she likes? Well my friends, Pastel/Open Sesame is for you! Get frustrated today reading about stupid indecisive boys and girls with complimenting art that completely misses the par of a good shounen romance like Ichigo 100%. Try, try, try!

Boxing and romance, lack of character development on both stories. But still good.

The female protagonist in these stories have a past traumatic experience with the male protagonist which hinders a relationship.

Boxing and romance loaded into both.

Take 2 country side boys, give them a pinch of popularity, then transfer them to Tokyo, add some evil women, finally spice it up with a reputable FIGHTING SPIRIT. Though taken place in opposite faces of Tokyo, they quickly have to find their place in completely unknown and awkward territories where dealing with women becomes an everyday thing. Their spirit and will power get them lots of attention, love and harmony. Such bliss is a good as nothing when their thick skulls know nothing of women...
