Recommendations

Older-than-typical protagonists oscillate between regretting the past decisions they did (and didn't) make, and moving forward. Contrary to the other recommendation, I don't feel that these manga are TOO similar - Kurosawa is portrayed as a lifelong loser who never found his niche, while the Tarareba Girls are (for lack of a better word) normies who just think they've aged out of the prime dating market - but they work very well as a spot-the-differences exercise in how josei and seinen manga treat thirtysomething angst in women and men.

Both deal with society and social problems and criticize it. though TTM is more focused on woman but both deal with women problems. You might find the TTM annoying but it's for a purpose.

- Both involve adult women, who don't fit in with the mainstream or get along well with men. - Very similar artwork because they are made by the same mangaka/author. - They also happen to be the same genre. Specifically: josei with a mixture of romantic comedy. - The only major difference is that Princess Jellyfish involves crossdressing while Tokyo Tarareba Girls does not.
