Both have love triangles and childhood friends although Heroine Shikkaku is a lot longer. Both have cute moments and some sad ones as well as jealousy and conflicts concerning love rivals. Both are set in a school and are great for shoujo manga readers.

The female leads have this caring motherly personality while the male leads are cute yet clumsy, who needs someone to care for him, which leads to some misunderstandings about the feelings they harbor, are they just “I like you as a mother” or are they genuine romantic feelings?

Fluffy cute theme with childhood friends that one of them treats the other as caring mother, and there are true genuine one sided feelings that wants to break free from this parent-like view of relationship.

These mangas are two volumes long. While Toshishita is more about the main characters, Inakya is about "I like you but you like her so...". But still, the premise is very similar. The main guys are a year younger, have a bright and straight-foward personality. The girls have a mother / big sister complex, and treat their interest as children.

It's the last one-shot of this manga, where both heroin and hero are childhood friends. Hero is also younger then the heroin, but they do fell in love!

One oneshot in Kimi no Kiss de Me wo Samasu is similar to the manga Kimi ga Inakya Dame tte Itte because it involves two childhood friends, and one of them seemingly appears to fall in love with someone else, whereas the other one falls in love with their childhood friend. Both people in love with the person that isn't the childhood friend is then conflicted when they find out the feelings of the childhood friend. Feelings are resolved in the end, all is fine and happy at the end. Both works are by the same mangaka. If you've liked one, you'd probably like the  read more

Both mangas have the same story- they both have two childhood friends, who, unbeknownst to them, are slowly falling in love with one another. Jealously is produced, when the male starts hanging near another female (popular) and comforting her due to complications in the love she is experiencing. Both female leads believe that the male loves the popular female, whilst he actually loves her, the childhood friend. Both childhood friends are dense in realizing their feelings and only was able to know of them when a friend notified them about it. Both females also are caring and help the male with stuff such as waking  read more
