One of the two main characters is obsessed with cleaning and thus a significant part of the story is about that. *There is also some sort of tsundere "romance", although that is not really the main part of this similar rec, because in Monsters can't clean the dragon wants to eat her. 

It's from the same author, so obviously it would have the same feelings. I feel Dengeki Daisy all over QQ Sweeper even though it's a very different story. It's very good and got the same vibe. Warning though, Dengeki Daisy romantic story is about adult and a high school student.  

Both stories focused on a partnership between 2 friends as well as being able to look into minds as well too with its focus on psyches and fighting evil creatures from negative feelings.  

Girl meets boy and learns about the supernatural world that lurks beneath their own. They have a bickering relationship but grow to strongly care about each other, facing different supernatural problems along the way, largely in a school setting. Despite their humorous elements, both series also touch on some darker issues too. 

These two fantasy series are about battling the darkness born from people's negative thoughts and malice. They enter people's hearts/minds and cleanse the filth and darkness that entraps them: Alice 19th through the power of Lotis Words and QQ Sweeper through cleaning. Both series also have a budding romance between the main leads.
