Hiroshi Shiibashi's artwork is a wonderful sight. It's dark and gritty but can be cute at times. It's rough and unclean, which fits in with my personal taste. This author also wrote Nura: Rise of the Youkai Clan.
Sadly, only 13 chapters are available to read and it ends with the 32nd. So far, the art is on point. It's a lot darker than his previous work but it works for the enivroment that the story takes place in.
The lead character, Axel, is a vampire that is bad with directions and strong from the beginning of the story. He is often used to introduce
other characters to the world of monsters. Axel is designed well and is consistent with his character but does have some character development as he works closer with his "peers".
The story is simple and to the point, despite it being a mystery shounen series. The comedy isn't too over the top and does well for a short series.
I would suggest this manga to people are fans of the authors previous work and for fans of supernatural shounen.
