These are both delinquent themed manga, though Shonan Seven leans more into the comedy and laid back nature of the series. If you like the comedy in Crows and want more of that, you would definitely enjoy Shonan Seven. Shonan Seven has much less serious stakes though, it won't be as high octane as Crows, if that's what you wanted more of in a series you'll still like Shonan Seven but it won't be as hardcore.

The two main protagonists are very strong, motivated, and naturally gifted to lead others. Both narratives take place in a high school setting with students all filled with the same goal to rise to the top of the food chain. The storylines from both manga have a great dose of action and comedy.

Shonan Seven and Sugarless takes place in a school life setting where there are dominant male characters and delinquents. The main character gets into complicated affairs and fights with others. Their presence also triggers rivalries with reputable characters as we see how far they go to prove themselves.

Created by the same author, GTO and Shonan Seven involves fighting and delinquents with a tough main protagonist. They have different goals but both of them lands them in a school that proves to be a challenge for their life. There is an adequate amount of realism that especially pertains to a more rough culture in school. Both series' main male protagonist also has similar personalities.
