Akogare no Kinjo no Obasan ni Nengan no Tanetsuke (The Lady Down the Street Asked Me to Impregnate Her) is a Oneshot by DAIGO. It's a decent length for a single chapter and features some great art, but it doesn't have much else to offer besides that.

So, what's the story for this Oneshot? Well there's not much to the it, a kid named Tomo has a crush on his neighbour and he gets a chance to spend some... quality time with her. The plot is incredibly simplistic, and there's not much to it other than the bear bones minimum that's required to ... support the events that happen over the course of the Oneshot. I personally would've like some more depth to the story, but I know many people won't mind.

The greatest strength of this Oneshot is undoubtedly its art. The characters have a very polished and professional look. It seems to me that a lot of effort was put into them. Their design is very sleek and aesthetically pleasing. Although I did find some of the faces rather offputting; not scary, just silly looking. The backgrounds are very minimal and not very memorable, most of the focus is clearly on the characters.

Speaking of the characters, how are they? Well... pretty basic. Since there're only two characters, Tomo and his neighbour, I'll briefly talk about both of them.

Tomo is just a fairly generic teenager. He's awkward and madly in love with his neighbour. I found him relatable, but that's about it.

Tomo's neighbour (no, I'm not forgeting her name, she doesn't have one), is also fairly stereotypical. She's having marriage trouble and is hungry for some action. I guess she's the classic "Milf" archetype. She doesn't have any personality, so I found her a little hard to follow.

That about sums up the characters, all in all they're pretty meh.

Overall I enjoyed this Oneshot. It clearly had a lot of effort put into with regards to the art, but there just isn't a whole lot of substance. There're much shorter Oneshots that I'll remember over this one. Keep in mind, story is important, but the most important thing above all is characters with personality. Because that's what really makes something compelling. 6.5/10

So, would I reccomend you read this Oneshot? If you like milfs, or hentai in general, than yeah. It's a fairly short read and it has some decent eye candy, but don't expect yourself to get much more out of it than that.
