Both have blond teenage ghost boys who befriends human girls and later falls in love with them.

The one shot included in "sensei, kiite yo," "Natsu wa Ginga no Ame ga Furu," and "Pinocchio" both have a similar story about a ghost befriending a girl. (Random plus, the main characters Kou and Ga On looks similar too.)

Though, the genres may be somewhat different, as one is supernatural in one way or another and the other not so, both mangas present a refreshingly adorable relationship between the two main characters. Both have a rather simple storyline and are slow-paced, so for those that look for action ... not so recommended. But those that look for a simple slice-of-life with a bit of supernatural, may come to like this.

When I started reading Pinocchio, all that was similar between these two was that the MC could see ghosts. In YZtM it was her ability while in Pinocchio she could see one because of a necklace. The real similarity came after a major plot twist, or should I say that the plot twist is the same in both. Overall really beautiful stories you'll surely enjoy them

Both contain supernatural elements to them and very similar art (comic art). Soft romance waits around the corner, unexpectedly and perhaps even unwanted, but what secrets may lie behind the facade they keep? In any case, they have the same atmosphere to them and somewhat similar plots.
