Both manga with magical girls, but both aren't your typical happy cheerful manga à la Nanoha or Pretty Cure. Both manga are dark, it seek out the cruel things people does to survive in extreme situation. Yet the main character tries to remain pure with all the cruelties.

Mahou Shoujo Site is basically a magical girl remake of Gantz (which is basically a seinen action remake of the mahou shoujo genre ;) ). People get chosen by a supernatural force, they kill each other and stuff happens. What makes Mahou Shoujo Site stand out is the great characters and a solid story (and lots of violence!). In my opinion it has more in common with Gantz than Madoka Magica.

dark magical girl series where the main characters have to fight a non-human being for their lives, it touches deep topics and portrays realistic relationships between well written characters

-Both feature normal girls who are given magical girl-like abilities (in ms site being an magic item ,in mhik a whole transformation) -Both get caught in a fight against each other for survival or dominance.

If you really enjoy sadistism against young girls, and like a touch of depressing magic. Go for it and never look back.

Both have a pitiful protagonists. If you are also depressed and suicidal you will enjoy. Very relatable lol.

These girls are tired of living in hell, that their life became and see no right way to escape it. When everything seems to go wrong, a light in a tunnel appears in front of them. Maybe someone special or some magic will be enough to change their live? Even if the way is painfull and leads thru many tears, it's worth it.

Two girls - one tired of life where she get's bullied, second with dream to become a magical girl. What they have in common? Both were given magical powers, that could (and for sure will) change their lives forever. But is it for better...?

Both feature self centered and warped magical girls, with plenty of violence and a dash of fanservice to keep your blood pumping!

Both have a mahou shoujo theme to it. They both have pretty cute artwork as well as start off with an innocent story. There are pretty dark elements introduced as the story progresses. All in all, both stories have an expected dark atmosphere hidden under the art style.

Both have a rather weak main character whose life changes because of a mysterious website. Lots of gore in both.

Along with many others, the outcast main character gains an immense power. The main character teams up with a classmate who has a similar power to find out as much as they can about the power and defend themselves against the many threats to their lives. Both manga are intense psychological horror and contain a lot of killing.

Really depressing stories about bullying and violence.

Well, both have small, middle school girls named Aya who are in similar situations in which they bullied every day (though personally I think Asagiri Aya in MSS has it a couple times worse). While in OMK, Aya seeks out help to teach the bullies a lesson, Aya in MSS accidentally retaliates and is helped by another person who understands her situation.

Similarities: + Students from different schools are given special powers and end up fighting against each other + Very dark with death and gore + People who are willing to kill in order to survive + Characters who are bullied and want revenge + Not all of the guys, but some of them trap the girls and force them to do whatever they want Differences: - Mahou Shoujo Site uses magical girl powers with wands while Ouokoku Game involves a medieval style survival game - A much larger main cast in Oukoku Game

In both mangas, a girl is able to utilize some sort of power in order to protect the world from some sort of upcoming disaster. Both girls also are mistreated by their family, and sexually used by an older figure. Both girls also defeat people (monsters in Sekai Oni) in order to do something that will prevent something. However, using the power needed will take something important from them: their own life or those around them. They do both have differences, as in Sekai Oni, disaster has already started happening, and that she works with many others, whereas in Mahou Shoujo Site, disaster has not  read more
