Love Lesson is a nice short story about the relationship between a model and an actor. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s not anything extraordinary, but it’s not a bad read either.
It’s average for a yaoi manga, simple, sweet, with lots of dramatic bishounens. Yet it manages to hold your attention throughout the story, due to its length there are very few parts that don’t serve a purpose. The romance and conflicts are resolved in the end and the pacing is very well done. It does have quite a bit of drama, as to be expected in any yaoi manga.
There is a small cast of characters, but the only ones that truly matter are the main two. They are rather simple, as the story is too short for them to get any real development. As a result of this, it can feel like they’re too pretentious at times.
The art is what’s really good about Love Lesson. In most yaoi there are weird proportions and strange anatomy, but in this one the character designs are more realistic and it makes it easier to enjoy.
If you are looking for a short yaoi with a good art style, or if you just like yaoi in general, you’ll probably enjoy reading Love Lesson. That being said, if you are looking for something with a meaningful plot and detailed characters, you might not enjoy it as much as others.
