Set in the Soviet Union in 1920, the mysterious girl named Belka and the quiet boy Shchenok help a Socialist Party member to escape from the secret police. Their aim is to infiltrate into a certain mansion that holds what they seek, but the secret police immediately capture the two. Will they be able to find what they seek and endure the torture of the secret police?

This manga tells us the story of Bielka, a disabled girl on a wheelchair, escorted by her one-eyed slender companion around the countryside of Russia in the period of the rise of the Bolshevikh party, which eventually leads to the country, adopting the Communist regime.

The manga is short and explores a part of the history, usually never portrayed in a manga, which makes this piece unique and veru interesting if you do have some previous knowledge about this certain period and the russian Communism in general.
