Speechless. I bet that you will be, once you finish Sabrina. Due to that you may end up prompted to read it more than once, but the point of it could still elude you.

It is questionable if there truly exists a point behind this work; some deeper metaphors maybe ? Quite possibly it could simply be an inane and devious work, which serves no other purpose than to perplex the reader, or bluntly put, mess with his / her mind.

I haven't even bothered to rate individual aspects, but instead merely rated it overall. Justification for my score lies in the fact that re-read value read more

"Grandma made me a sandwich and died."

I'm probably not the biggest fan of Nihei's works but Sabrina might be one of the funniest one-shots I've ever read. The "humor" in this manga is so unbelievably dry that I just can't help laughing, even though the content is actually pretty disturbing. Be warned though, if you're looking for an actual story you should avoid this manga like the plague. The content is extremely contextless, even for Nihei. The sketchy art style is very grim and not as detailed as in most other Nihei manga, but it nevertheless adds to the outlandish atmosphere.
