One Punch Man is a really fun manga to read. Like it's so fun to read that the filler is fun to read. And what's interesting about this manga is how it achieves this quality, in that the story isn't anything special. It's a shounen through and through, an action fighting manga. It encompasses an endless amount of tropes, and OPM would only be an average shounen if it wasn't for its characters.

The star studded cast of OPM just elevates the manga into something more than just another shounen, it feels special and different. That stems from our main character, Saitama. He is outstandingly written, ...

If you enjoyed season one of the OPM anime, then you should real the manga. Season 2 was rushed and garbage, but the story in the manga is still really good though. Why should you read this manga? Well because...

One of the best art ever seen in manga. The story is great. The fight scenes are clear and are really cool, especially chapter 140+ fights. Can't wait for season 3 of the anime. 10/10 must read for anyone person that likes manga that has funny moments, cool characters (Tatsumaki is mommy), great and unique story. and badass art. Don't miss out on the manga of ...

It's rare to see a shonen series that can strike consistently gorgeous art and a great story. While to titular character often takes backstage to the story due to his power that would immediately resolve every conflict in a matter of seconds, we are still delighted with the supporting casts that are well-written and entertaining enough.

Still, the star of the show and the most entertaining character is the MC. Each arc shows him keeps one-upping himself in feats of strength; with an action scene that is always a delight to the eyes. It is unfortunate in the genre that usually has a side character ...

I don't really like doing reviews before the series is finished but this one i have to make an exception for. (I did the webcomic first)

~Spoilers~

This is like the Anime/Webcomic which i am glad, all follow the source material to the letter, and makes this series a cut above the rest. The lack of deviation is why the entire series is beautiful. This Manga is drawn by Yuusuke Murata a very well know artist, and fan of the webcomic. the comedic overtone and the really impressive fight scenes are at the heart and soul of the series. The introduction of class ranks and positions within ...

One Punch man is at its very core a simple idea. After a horrible experience with a monster that showed the main character that he is weak, he started training for 3 years and became so overpowered that he can now defeat any enemy in 1 punch.

The story however is NOT a powerfantasy. Most of the story revolves around the greatly written side-characters and their struggles to become stronger while Saitamas biggest struggle is simply not finding an oponent that can challenge him.

Pro's:
- The BEST Art you will ever see in a manga. Yes, it's even better than Berserk and Vagabond. Some of the chapters ...

Is this one of the best modern pieces of entertainment? Yes. Does it still have issues? Yes.

I made a whole video review on this so if you feel like it, you can check that out.

Now for the important part:

Story - 8
Let me just say I love the theming that is displayed not only with Sitama but with many other characters and plot points "If you have enough passion and dedication you can achieve pretty much anything." love to see that. But we don't spend too much time with that for the most part we follow dudes hitting each other really hard... and I love that ...

I'm not reading a lot of mangas, because some are too weird for me, too crazy, too much "shonen". But One Punch Man is the only one of them to make me love that much a manga or something literaly.

First, because of the story... Saitama is too strong ! There no things like : Oh no I am strong, but a new enemy is always stronger, etc... The other heroes are like that, but the protagonist isn't and that is fresh and funny. Talking about fun, the story has a lot of moments with funny things happening. And some of them aren't when you expected ...

Saitama is a man-turned-hero who underwent three years of extreme training. As a result, Saitama has becoming incredibly strong (and bald) and is able to end every fight with just a single punch. He thirsts for the exciting rush of combat. The problem is...he's too strong?

One Punch-Man takes a comical yet thought provoking look at strength, justice, and ambition. It's thoroughly enjoyable to watch the heroes struggle to defeat a villain just to have Saitama walk in and finish it off in one, effortless punch. His strength and his never-ending struggle to find an opponent who can survive a single punch leads him to ...

Rather than Action, *ACTION* fits this manga better.

Story-8
The story are quite generic. Simply put, it's a story about heroes battling against villains. Onepunchman add gimmick such as hero rank system, which shows how the heroes regulated by government. Nothing mindblowing but for an omnipotent hero like Saitama, this actually could build a sense of growth which I don't expect from one-hit-kill main char.

Art-10
Yuusuke Murata providing a generous amount of action scene for this series. No really, when you see action it means real ACTION. 18-20 page for weekly release are just not enough to capturing the awesomeness that put other battle mangas to shame. ...

Okay, look hear me out because I know this will be a controversial take. I genuinely think that the original ONE web manga is the superior adaptation. Yes, the art is awful, the panelling can be incredibly messy to look at, the action sequences can be quite the letdown, and the world-building and characters aren't as fleshed out or clearly characterised. Yusuke Murata's adaptation fixes all of these things. The art is, as expected, absolutely fantastic. The panelling is dynamic and artful. The action sequences are... simply breathtaking. And almost all gaps in the world-building of ONE's original work are filled here. Hell, with ONE ...

This manga is so phenomenal, and Murata absolutely carries this story on his back with his god tier artwork.

I love all the characters and their interactions and personalities with all my heart and the story is pretty darn good however, things are completely dragging out at this point and time it makes it kinda hard for me to enjoy it at this rate. When the manga is finished, and you can read it through its entirety with no breaks I think it'll be a near perfect experience, but as of right now it feels like we've been in the same arc for nearly 3-4 ...

Another fantastic manga with a good message behind OP MC and a gains on the strength of focusing on side characters and having outstanding visuals. By focusing on side characters we see how they react and try to fix problems while the answer to all of their problems is a hilariously underrated super hero who can defeat all of them with one punch. It is interesting to see how all of their dynamics are affected, definitely worth a read.

It is refreshing that an OP character can get into some really though provoking but often light hearted situations, I for on will be a constant ...

Overview: One punch man is a story of an unknown hero named Saitama, who once was an average employee after tirelessly training for three years; he has achieved great power. And with great power comes hair loss and responsibility. After obtaining this great power, he found his new carrier in being a superhero. Despite his over the top physical ability, he was ranked one of the lowest tiers in the hero association; hence the name, the unknown hero. Despite being viewed as one of the weakest heroes, he manages to destroy every monster that comes across his path, rending bored and hoping for an enemy ...

The only reason I gave this a 10 is because of the Original webcomic. The redrawn manga's art is shit and ruined the original design. The redraw pulled in weabooos who only read it for the design of the bitch sisters and they don't really understand the story of this epic drama.

Story - 10. Best Slice of life manga out there that will make you cry. Only those who have been the best in their life at something like me would understand Saitama's suffering and emotional struggles where there is no competition. Life is shit when others are beneath you and no one could ...

Its been quite a while since I read this manga, so might aswell I review it.

Onepunch-man is a superhero manga. A genre that im not really into it, but its not a regular super hero like marvel, it has some twist in it. It tells the story of Saitama, a man who trained so hard at becoming a superhero that he became really strong. So strong that he ends every single fight in a single punch.

In this world superhero is a job, needless to say you got to do some good deeds such as catches a robber or even fight the mysterious being. Oh ...

Truly a masterful manga.

It carefully combines all the strengths of the medium to produce one of the greatest pieces of parody and action fiction I have ever seen. It perfectly blends action with comedy while highlighting the ability of manga paneling to physically communicate a story. The characters and overall plot are original and intriguing, the one punch man himself stands as both a simple and complex character. He wants to experience true battle but the trials and tribulations associated with his failure to do so are at the heart of the series. The world around Saitama is deadly serious, but his sense of heroism as ...

One-Punch Man is just like what the title sounds - A main character who can literally one punch kill everything. Now , what's the fun about an overpowered BALD main character who can defeat gargantuan monsters and meteorites in just a punch ? Everything. One-Punch Man is a series that deviates from the general shounen rule of : New enemy comes out and destroys the main character , leading the main character to train and power up and repeat. This makes it utterly fresh to the eyes and this is not a manga to be taken seriously because of it and the sheer idiocy of ...

If you have seen the Anime, do not let it make you think the manga is as boring as season 2. This manga is straight heat!

Saitama isn't even around really for quite a long time from where Season 2 ends in the manga. The rest of the cast was so interesting and unique I completely forgot about our main character.

The art on the other hand, UNMATCHED. The panels are absolutley breathtaking. The details in some of these panels seriusly make me zoom in and appreciate the art of little rocks you can hardly see!! Its not talked about enough.
I need to know if ONE and/or ...

After seeing the anime version the second time, I just had to check out the manga. Season 2 wasn't going to come out for some time and I couldn't wait.

I was not disappointed. This marked the first time I stayed up very late to read a manga, heck, the first time I stayed up late to read at all in a long while. One Punch Man (OPM) as a manga is highly entertaining, with a plethora of fights that are brilliantly illustrated in such a way that you can easily imagine their happening in real-time. They're very fluid. The powers of these heroes/monsters are epic. ...

When I first picked up this manga, it was so funny I could not stop myself from laughing, and I'm not the kind to usually laugh out loud even when watching comedies. If the manga had maintained that, I would've given this 10/10.

Unfortunately in recent chapters, it seems to have forgotten that it'd started off as a parody, a comedy. Right now, it's averaging 1 gag per chapter, and even then it fails to elicit a single laugh from me. For example, in the recent chapter featuring Flashy Flash, I'm pretty sure the only gag in the entire chapter was when he was casually choosing ...
