Manga: Xi Xing Ji
Xi Xing Ji and Feng Shen Ji even the name sounds similar! You know why? Because this is what the creator of Feng Shen Ji is currently working on in Hong Kong with his buddies. The story although not in any relation as we know right now other than one specific character that looks identical to a sage king in FSJ, XXJ uses lore from the chinese story Journey to the West as inspiration just like FSJ uses lore from the Zhou Dynasty era. Manga: City of Darkness
Both manga have epic fight scenes and with similar great art work. Both main characters are very strong and noble and in time they gather other strong followers from other factions to fight a much bigger adversary. Both main characters find someone they love and want to protect with their lives as the story progresses. The two main protagonists also seek training to become stronger in order to see their goals take shape.

Manga: Kingdom
One is Manga One is Manhua Both of them are set in Ancient China Both of them have amazing portrayal of action, leadership, adventure, sense of overwhelming odds. Most of all, both of them have amazing character development and plot development. The best part is that both of them have amazing Art to support the story wonderfully. Feng Shen Ji is fully coloured, where each panel feels like a painting. Kingdom has fantastic minute detailing in the characters and background, which portray the war torn battlefields magnificently!

Manga: Berserk
Both have protagonists who take it upon themselves to overthrow the gods, Berserk is about revenge while Feng Shen Ji is about a fight for real freedom.

Manga: Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken
Same aspect of dieing and being reborn as another living being coming back stronger and setting out on misson. Both manga's have very indepth world building forming a very strong community that are behind the main characters. Both main characters grow incredible stronger as the story progresses.

Manga: Panlong
In both series, the main protagonist discovers their true potentials and unlocks a power that is beyond imagination. Their adventure takes them to challenges that they've never experienced before including some very dangerous adversaries. There's also a lot of mystical creatures that exists in both series with a good amount of fantasy themes. FEng Shen Ji is known for an immense amount of action and violence. Panlong has more of fantasy and adventure style with more lighthearted humor.

Manga: Saiyuuki Gaiden
In Saiyuuki Gaiden, the protagonists are dissatisfied with the way the godly individuals or those that reside in heaven operate. In Feng Shen Ji, the humans grow tired of the Gods' rule and want to live free. In both, these grudges against heaven result in rebellion.

They are both about a hybrid human with an extraordinary powers who use these abilities to fight powerful foes on their journeys. There are many different races in both series with unique abilities as well. The action and fight scenes are very well drawn. I'm sure if you like one, you will like the other.

Manga: Blood and Steel
Another manhua about revenge. Instead of gods vs humans its about one martial arts faction trying to take control of and/or destroy all others that stand in its way. Just like in Feng Shen Ji a young mans way of life is destroyed when an opposing force shows up and obliterates his home where after he is saved and trained.
