Another day, another one-shot. This time, about a short and sweet story about a girl attending a school activity...with guns. Because who wouldn't want that?
There's not a lot of story, but what there is is fairly enjoyable. The action was nice, for the most part. The ending was a bit predictable, but I didn't really feel overly disappointed about it. So it's essentially a short middle-ground sort of story that cures a bit of boredom, but doesn't leave you with disappointment.
Despite the short story, the art actually impressed me. Very nice lighting from the guns and the character designs are pretty likeable without being overly
pandering. The environments were pretty well done too, and went pretty well with the war-like theme.
There's not a whole lot to say about the characters. Most of them are background and don't have much purpose. The two characters we DO see the most often are fairly likeable, but sort of fall into the whole "club trope". Not really hate-able, but not really anything exciting either.
Despite the quick read, I found myself enjoying it. Maybe it's because I'm sort of a sucker for the whole "slice of life" and "school girl" thing, but even if I wasn't, this would be a good read to cure some boredom. I'd recommended it to anyone looking to do the very same.
