Pretty meh story, had lots of loose points in the plot, especially in the sci-fi aspect. Like I'm aware most people are here for the bl if ever they manage to stumble upon this manga and wouldn't care either way, but to readers looking for a different kind of story aside from the piles of mediocre bl, this one ain't for you.
Even if it doesn't try to stand out and bring something extraordinary to the bl genre or be the cream of the crop, it ain't an enjoyable read either. There was little room for one to feel the significance of the MC's lover before
...
he kermitted suicide (which I'll assume you know already since you've at least read the synopsis before reaching this review), thus leaving you with a jerk of a protagonist to his partner android upon waking up 250 years later. The pacing is too fast to relate to the story, with the use of time skips and all. If you couple that with a pair of characters that felt like walking cardboard on popsicle sticks, you get an uneventful experience. The art style is at least pretty decent, it's not your conventional manga-esque or anime-y art style, and even though I personally had a gripe with certain chibi moments given the plot, the use of uneven lines is pretty ok.
I guess it's saving grace would be if you enjoy tragedy stories or the falling-in-love-with-another-person-since-your-lover-was-yeeted kinda premise. But given the overall pacing execution and overall premise, everything just felt so bland. Overall I feel like there was this juxtaposition in the tags (sci-fi, drama, bl, and tragedy) with the execution of the story; a pretty bland experience for people jaded with the mediocre majority of bl manga I'd say
