Both include cute animals and lots of funny events. Main protagonist of Guru Guru Pon-chan is a young female dog named Ponta, who falls in love with a human boy, while Chi's sweet home follows the life of little kitten Chi and her family. Both are really sweet and a great choice for someone who loves animals.  

These series are very different from each other, but in both of them the main protagonist is a dog. Ginga Nagareboshi Gin has a lot of fighting, adventure and excitement while Guru Guru Pon-chan is a romantic comedy about young female dog who transforms into a human and falls in love with a human boy.  

Both stories follows a human and animal relationship in a similar way. Guru Guru Pon-Chan features a dog who can turn into a human, while Wild Cats features a Lion who is kept like a pet cat or dog. But both show the strong affections between human and animal.
