Both are fantasies that have a teenage female main-characters, who are both smart and strong, in a setting based on the ancient East. Great world-building and similar writing. Romance is hinted and cute in both.

High fantasy worlds and pretty cool settings. Their stories are about politics and the personal development of the female protagonists. Both of them are novels.

Young girl gets involved with a struggle over a crown and a rule over a kingdom. With scarce allies and she has to survive long enough to solve the conflict. Both series take inspiration from ancient China, though Juuni Kouki is a fantasy.

Both involve a girl who is strong. Wherever she goes, she leaves an impression. Both are very influential and has leadership. They are in the justice side. Includes time skip/parallel world. Her friends get stuck in the world also. Character changes and how it impact them and how they cope with the situation in front of them. Corrupt leaders.Political problems. Theme is ancient/medieval. Both are great reads.
