1-3) Is it wrong to eye your body?
"As long as Kakuno's willing to look at me, it's okay." Hazumi was helped by his classmate, Kakuno, who saw him being harassed by some upperclassmen. His heart stolen by Kakuno's strong and beautiful body, Hazumi told Kakuno that he wanted to see it all. Kakuno obliged, but as time passed their relationship became no clearer. They started out as strangers, neither lovers nor friends. Which would it be, if any?
4) Night Falls
Stirred by the rustling sounds of the leaves, the boy awakes to find a stranger in his house. Surprised but undeterred, he tries to befriend the mysterious guy that hangs out in his sister's room after night falls. Time pasts and his sister disappears, trying to go after the guy who decided to leave. Will he see his sister again? What about the stranger of the night?
5) The End Result
Continuation of the second story.
"I want to see your naked body" Hazumi announces to his classmate, Kakuno, after he fought off some school bullies for him. So, being the easy-going guy that Kakuno is, he complies and discovers that Hazumi seems to like his body, a lot. One thing after another and the two end up in one of "those" relationships.
I liked the romance pacing - if that's how one would describe it - as the scenes jump around slowly filling in moments and events. Really, the story is very basic: boy saves other boy from bullies on a whim and then they start having a sexual relationship. The
plot is then a dance between the two deciding what their relationship exactly is. Is it more than just sex? is it love?
I like the character's personalities. Hazumi, the uke, is a little weird and doesn't talk, let alone express his thoughts, but he knows what he wants where Kakuno, the seme, was described by Hazumi as fickle; goes along with anything but changes his mind quickly without a second thought - or so it seems.
The art is outstanding. It's crisp and modern with clean lines and shading. Koizumi Kiyo only has a few, if only two, mangas that i could find. I hope to see more from her in the future.
The second arc, to this manga, is weird at it's best. The story can only be described as "odd". I mean, if some random climbed through my window...i wouldn't cross-dress and fondle him with my foot. It had a cute ending, though i personally liked the first story the best.
My score is driven by the art. Kiyo really knows how to draw hot semes, damn! The plots are generic with a small twist of quirkiness but not exactly mind blowing. I would recommend reading this for the art, a few giggles and simple conclusions.
The story for this manga was really, really cute! I was surprised because judging from the cover, it looks a little generic and silly but the content was very different. The main thing that made it refreshing was the deviation from the typical climax of most BL stories, as in there weren't whole chapters devoted completely to sex scenes. Also, the story does progress somewhat slowly especially for this genre which was really nice, as it gave you time to enjoy the characters.
The second story (there are two so far, just short pieces) I actually didn't really like as there's kind of a large
age gap and there's that brother/sister conflict for the same guy which weirds me out in general.
But definitely give the first story a try if you like cute characters! I like the understated art as well, it reminds me a lot of mangas like "kuriyami ni strobe" and "Seven Days"
