As a new reader of Yaoi, Shounen-Ai and stuff like this, I actually found this manga very interesting. I am a guy and reading this was pretty damn good! (no, I'm not gay)
The story follows Asada who works at a sales company, and each morning he'd see this "handsome" man at an intersection in which his heart would "flutter" (HA!) Asada would always admire that man, it would seem like he had a secret crush on him or something, but he'll never get the chance to talk to him, right? Wrong, instead that handsome man gets called in to work on a project with Asada
and it's revealed that he's a very popular and well-known man who is openly GAY! That man's name is Mizuki, and everyone pretty much knows him and knows he plays for the other team. But that doesn't stop the girls from starring at him. The story is basic as it is, they work on the project together, they bond more, but then Asada begins to admire Mizuki more, learn more about his personality, and then eventually see his weaknesses. I wouldn't like to spoil this for any fujoushi's/danshi's, but there are a couple of twists, drastic changes and nail-biting parts that will keep you interested the entire way.
At the end of the book, the author of the novel explains the type of novel they were aiming for as well as shipping. The author aims for a more SemexSeme/UkexUke experience, which I found myself wondering who the hell is the seme or uke! At times I thought I figured it out, but they switch, then switch again, and then back and forth. So, I donno. Read it and find out , maybe even message me and tell what you think!
I won't spoil any more of the plot, since it does get interesting! Very dramatic and edgy! But I liked the art style. It was very neat, well-done and looked great, even on the "ecchi" scenes. To be honest, this thing is rated 18+ where I am from, but it's very vanilla/shounen-ai level. Like, you will KNOW that they're doing it, but you won't see it, well, much. So if you pick up the book and are expecting something hardcore, you're making a wrong choice on this novel. It's more of a sweet/loving kinda thing.
Well, I don't know what else to say. The story was great. The art was nice. The characters had depth and were interesting, and I enjoyed it.
I'd give it an 8/10. Not bad for my second yaoi/shounen-ai type of book.
Here's looking for more in the future!
