Normally, one would simply read these manga for the explicit material. However, I enjoy nice stories as well. The story really improves the material. Despite the common "who reads explicit manga / watches hentai for story" , it really helps if the characters are cute, there are funny events, and the story is fun and moderately exciting.
This story is PACKED with humor to amuse you, including the name which is a pun (notes in translation for people who can't understand it). The story, which is about mahou shoujo, also gives me a kick from its diverse "magical prerequisites" needed to cast spells and save the world.
Now the characters are insanely cute, even the dude is funny - "did she just call me fugly ?".
They also are hilarious, though not realistic (but honestly, it's mahou shoujo AND explicit so what did you expect?:P)
The art- now that's gold. While black and white, I got more enjoyment out of this piece than many color manga I read. As I personally say, "if it weren't for the art, I'd go back to the fugly American television" ( I'm American btw so it's fine. if not, sorry whoever likes western media ).
This has gotta be one of the most fun filled manga I have ever read. It saturates all your desires, whether it's a covet for sexual content, humor or just cuteness (moe).
Overall, as long as you aren't against sexual content and think, " how dare they, this is simply an atrocity, how harrowing! " and read it with an open mind, I can almost guarantee you'd enjoy it. but still, try to keep in mind that it is targeting men and may not display everything in a positive light.
in conclusion, read it and at least give it a try. I understand everyone has their own fetishes ( I have trauma against glasses so I myself understand people's aversion towards certain genres including Loli's and such ) but if you aren't too against it, this is not simply trying to sell Loli's. instead it provides a cute story and humor in the package. As I would say- its like getting something that's 2 in 1, on SALE (so its 3 in 1). This manga exemplifies the use of explicitness while having concurrent themes including humor and moe.
Thanks for reading and please try this great manga. If you have any constructive criticism (if it's capitalization - I'm using my phone so please keep an open mind) please notify me. read more
