Synopsis

The Hybrid Child is an amazing android that can grow if it is lavished with enough love and care from its owner. Neither fully machine nor fully human, the various Hybrid Child models develop strong emotional bonds with their owners. This volume contains several short stories of love, sacrifice, and drama: Young Kotaro learns the importance of responsibility when his Hybrid Child's lifespan runs out. The tragic swordsman Seya learns to love again with the help of his Hybrid child, Yuzu. The final tale tells the story of Kuroda, the creator of the Hybrid Child designs, and how his lost love inspired their creation.

This was one of the best mangas I've ever read! I barely read any manga, but I couldn't help but read this one over and over again. It was so sad! The story was great, the art was amazing (I'm a big art freak), the characters were enjoyable, and overall everyone was outstanding! The last chapter was the saddest. I cried so hard. My mom came and just stared at me saying: "Why are you crying?" I couldn't stop crying. My parents don't like shounen ai nor yaoi, so I couldn't tel them the story. My brother was laughing read more

One word, AMAZING. It brought tears to my eyes and stabbed my chest because the last chapter was so tragic. :( At first, I didn't want to read it but when I told my friend to read this and she said it was good, I took the challenge even though I don't want anyone to die! XD But it's all worth it! I read a beautiful story and it touched my heart how HCs give importance to their masters no matter what and stay by their side forever. :) That's all I can say! XD

Preliminary
The stories are short, sweet, sexy and fun. At one point I was laughing out loud as the hilarious conversations, they are perfect and witty! Also, the art was well done, and story lines not overly dramatic or unnecessarily angsty, each are different, so you get a range from simple fun to poignant loss each telling a tale of a hybrid child, a being created to change and grow according to their owner's needs and wishes. This is a great "introduction" for readers just beginning to enjoy yaoi. In fact, I have bought and given copies as gifts to friends though I always keep a read more

Preliminary
This is SUCH a sad yaoi manga. Especially the last chapter. It's just SO damn frustrating. But this is definately a must read. The stories have their own original characters and each of the one shots are connected in one way or another, similar to how junjou romantica is. It's really sad, but in a good way. Lots of romance too =)
