Story: The first chapter is just funny then as the chapters go along, it gets more serious but it still stays cute and funny. It also gets more interesting as it goes along then it starts getting more exciting later and the ending is awesome.

Art: The artwork is pretty good. The monsters are cute and the humans are kind of funny the way they are drawn, especially Maruyama and the witch. Something I don't understand is why the first chapter is in color while all the chapters afterwords are in black and white.

Characters: The characters are awesome. I love how they where able to come ...

Is there anyone even remotely interested in Anime & Manga who doesn't know "Akira Toriyama"? Despite all its shortcomings, flaws and cliches "Dragonball" is undoubtedly one of the most influential manga/anime ever? But does all of these people know that Toriyama also wrote quite a few other mangas? "Cowa!" is one of these others and one of the best of these. This is definitely a kids manga, it does not have any complicated plot, no over the top action elements and no fan service that shounen now a days are famous for. This is just a cute adventure story with some simple funny moments and ...

This manga was only fourteen chapters long, but when it came to entertainment it didn't fall short in any areas. I found this to be an cute and humorous story. it was very easy to get to know and like all of the characters, plus all of the characters were well drawn.

This is another Manga that was drawn by Akira Toriyama and I enjoyed more than I did some of his other short manga stories. He did a very good job here of telling and illustrating a story that was able to keep the readers attention.

So, yeah, I am going to recommened that ...

Cowa! is a cute little gag manga that deviates from much of Toriyama's normal style. Instead of the crude slapstick style comedy found through much of Toriyama's works, Cowa beautiful weaves in moral principals that promote charming moral principals. While the work is not necessarily mature, it is refined in the way it understands itself and the universe. The way the gags are woven into the plot helps to add to the charm of the story, and does a great job at establishing the main characters. Cowa doesn't over stay it's welcome, and it's quite short, but could use another volume to expand the universe ...

This manga is amazing. one of my all time favorites. The art work is very unique and the story keeps you on your toes the whole way through.

Every time I come back to Cowa! I discover new nuances that I was previously blind to.

Akira Toriyama is a genius in every sense of the word, and the main character Paifu is such a cutie.

I would recommend this to everyone, if you are on the fence about this manga, dont be. You will not be disappointed.

And if I ever plan on having a son or daughter, give them this manga and stare at awe ...

I was very surprised to find that Akira Toriyama did this series after Dragon Ball ended. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's something I would have expected earlier in his career. What we have here is a monster village living with humans. The monsters get sick and they have to team up with a human, who's referred to as a murderer every other page it seems like, to road trip across the country in search of medicine.

I really didn't like this.

What's a shame is that I could totally see myself liking this because Toriyama created a better version of this story early in ...

Well, it's something that your kids should like.

Story:
It starts off pretty simple, I wasn't expecting an overarching story, though I did get one near the end. I really did expect the sumo guy to marry paifu's mom, but that didn't happen.

Art:
Everything looks fine.

Character:
It's pretty basic stuff, paifu is reckless little kid who is a vampire, who has a friend who is kinda shy and not much beyond that. He also has a rival who isn't his friend but is his rival. No one goes beyond that. The wrestler guy is cool, I guess.
