Manga: Taiyou no Ie
In both manga, the atmosphere is lighthearted and gives a similar feeling. It details the life of a main male protagonist and a young girl that certainly came into his life. They began living together and has a strange relationship. At many instances, there is inklings of romantic moments as well some other tense scenes. It still retains its lighthearted genre with the drama, comedy, and obstacles they deal with in every day life. In fact, it follows a slice of life style of expressing its story. Both series also has natural artwork.

Manga: Meiji Hiiro Kitan
An older man takes care of a little girl (a little mature for her age) who developes feelings for him. Both shoujo/josei, a slice of life with some mystery or drama Manga. Kore wa Koi no Hanashi is more romantic, Meiji Hiiro Kitan may have more development but not all chapters have been translated yet

Both mangas portray a near-forbidden romance between an old guy and a young girl. But that's not all: both guys happen to be writers, both girls fall in love first and in both case there is an editor quite interested in how this romance could bloom.

Manga: Yumemiru Taiyou
Although Yumemiru Taiyou is far less dramatic and Kore wa Koi no Hanashi on the other hand doesn't offer much comedy, despite being quite different these two stories share common themes of family, friendship, and love. They also share the feeling of hope they create and leave afterwards.

Manga: Gomashio to Pudding
Relationship with age difference isn't seen with good eyes by society. It becomes more complicated, when their partner age is the same as their parents. Here we have two mangas with this relationship. In pudding the partners age difference is significant, however they meet as adults, also as it's a short manga the age difference relationship approach is taken in a more easy going approach. Kore wa koi no hanashi, has more chapter when compared, and the couple first meeting start while one is a child, leading to a age difference relationship being addressed in more depth. Manga: Dangan Honey
These two stories have very little in common. Dangan Honey is light and fluffy one volume manga while Kore wa Koi no Hanashi has a somewhat melodramatic lengthy life story. But, they do both have a very wide age gap between an older male and a younger female. What makes them resemble even more, in my opinion, is the utter loyalty the MC's have for each other. Even if they don't exactly show it (looking at the males here.) Which is probably a good thing since the female leads are grade school students at the beginning of both manga.

Manga: Kiss yori mo Hayaku
Both series has a variety of classic shoujo tropes including the interconnecting relationships of the two main characters. The main female protagonist has a gentle heart while we see how their lives unfold after meeting an older guy. Both series' romance has a slow progress but there is strong connection that is developed as each chapter unfolds. There is also a certain degree of realism as both series' main male protagonist holds professional occupations.

Manga: Love So Life
A lighthearted story with relationship building. If you're interested in some shoujo romance and a charming story, then perhaps both these series can be appealing to you. This also extends to realistic characterization as well as clever comedy used throughout their story. Both series also has a female protagonist who has similar personalities who experiences youth as they connect with others.

watashi no shonen age gap: younger boy (elementary school) / older woman (in her thirties) age progression the boy starts in elementary school 12 years old / woman 30 now he's in middle school she's 32 (volume 3) the" rival" is of same age kore wa koi no hanashi age gap : older man/ young girl (elementary school) age progression till high school for the girl but it appears that it's actually the woman who love the boy in a motherly or not! way kore wa koi no hanashi it was the girl who fell in love first

Manga: Hana no Namae
Both are about an antisocial Writer who ends up meeting a little girl who is somehow traumatized with some parents issue and she is always expressionless and doesn't smile. Eventually she starts taking care of his garden and spends all her time with him, making him become a more considerate guy. Also the guy has a best friend which is his editor, and in both mangas, the writer starts writing a romance novel based on the little girl.

Manga: Dengeki Daisy
The main character's love interest in both mangas has an age gap. Though, Dengeki Daisy's age gap is 8 years while Kore wa koi no hanashi is 21 years. The men in both manga's watch over the main character and care about them deeply.
