Berserk deals with a warrior fighting against massive grotesque monsters and humans alike such as knights and bandits and most recently tentacle pirates, Toujuushi Bestialious (somebody really needs to translate the alternative name for this) has a Wyvern fighting a gladiator and roman legionnaires Berserk started off as a one shot and I can imagine Toujuushi Bestialious turning out to look very similar to Berserk if it is given the same opportunity to be turned into a full blown action manga Both titles show awesome detailed artwork particularly the monsters and armor

The main characters are similar in their desire to unseat the man in power by violent ways. They also share a quite dark history theme and an evil character prepared to everything.

Both are seinen mangas about Romans.

Both titles have characters that share a relationship with dragons Both have tremendous artwork Both has sword fights, although Monster Collection is more detailed since Toujushi Bestialious is just a one shot and has therefore a very limited space to develop a proper story arc

Sword fights and monsters in an ancient civilizations setting.

Both have historical settings. Vinland Saga deals with Vikings while Toujuushi Bestialius (thta's quite a mouthful to pronounce) deals with Romans In both titles a certain Japanese touch is added to very western ideas. In Vinland Saga there are warriors with superhuman strength while the other has a wyvern and several other demi-humans Both contains bloody violent scenes Both titles' main characters' have their fathers killed and they develop a complex "Master and Student" relationship with their fathers' murderers'
